Botterill Bottom Park
Beautiful river valley park! This is a significant location where you will find the fresh water treatment plant, intake canal, and weir. Popular fishing spot and wildlife viewing area. Keep watch for pelicans, wandering garter snakes, yellow-bellied marmots, raccoons, deer, beaver, and muskrat (among many others). Gravel parking lot with boat launch. River Loop Trail offers great views of the University of Lethbridge and the coulees.

Went in for some mountain biking. Beauty of an area, totally worth the couple hour drive from Calgary. We will do it again.

Beautiful place for a stroll. It was pretty cool that while we walked had a 2 train's use the bridge one traveling east the next west. Enough trails to keep fresh no matter how many times for a visit.
