Canadian Tire

This branch is pretty great, they have almost everything, and what they don't have they're either already ordering it or will be happy to. The staff is super nice and incredibly helpful. They even offer to load your car for you if things are heavy! They help to pick out the best item of what you're looking for if you ask, and offer their knowledge on the items as well. I don't think I've been to a store with this great costumer service.10/10 will be returning again and again.

The service department is lacking in service. Randy and his crew fail to provide the very basic corporate required and industry standard checks; lights, horn, wipers etc.... In their case, not even the alignment before and after report. They also don't provide the extended tire warranty as prescribed by corporation. I would give the auto service department 2 stars. The store is 3 to 4 star. I typically receive good service, and for the most part, the majority of the store staff are friendly and helpful as with the GM. The evening managers are helpful, not the friendliest. The store would get a 3.5 to 4 stars. The whole operation gets 3 star.

Horrible experience here. The cashier jumped on my spouse and child while they were checking items along the check out.In brief, while waiting for me to choose a gift card. My Spouse and child were aggressively pounced upon by the cashier, saying we can't play with the back scratchers and have to pay for it now.I don't have a problem with this, but it's how it all happened. The attitude we received was if we threw all the items off the shelves and started jumping on them. I'm by no way the type of guy to argue with a senior cashier over a $5.00 item but seriously this store must train or hire poorly.Stevenson Canadian Tire, you have lost a regular customer. I came to get 5L measuring gas jug, it said 7 in stock but when i got there there was only a 2L jug and it was missing the lid and nozzle.The guy helping me said i dont need to buy so much. Then I explain to him i need it because its hard to measure from the red gas can and the mixing bottle only shows the ratio for the oil not the measurements for the gas.I work later and was in a rush and just dont want to have to explain myself when he could just say check the other location or even offer to call the other store for me and have them check if there is any in stock.I worked customer service before and its much wiser helping the customer get what they want than feel like I was manipulated to not needing it. He was friendly but i needed help.they didnt update it on the website even when I told them about it.

They did the fantastic job on my car. It's my first time changing tires here at canadian tire, I think he was the manager on the front he did a awesome job he told me everything what they did on my car plus the warranty. And the technician did awesome job too he make sure the tires are good to go. Thank you guys!!

I don't know if I should change my two stars to one star.I saw that the flyer had pretty good deals so I asked for one of the items, the person working there had to scan around 30-40 items to find it because it was so unorganized. And they didn't have it. I decided to ask about a different item but they didn't have it either and he said that it would restock in a couple of days but it wasn't on sale. I talked to the manager but it was the same story, this is false advertisement.I changed the rating from 3 to 2 because I had a bad experience with the supervisor.I came here to exchange a defective item, while I was here I remembered I needed paper towels.I saw bounty paper towels at a decent price. It showed it was around $12, to be sure I scanned it.The scanner wasn't working so I asked the gentleman working there to scan it when he scanned it showed $16. I took him to the aisle I got the paper towel from, and I showed him how it said $12. He said whatever price it showed on the shelves is the price of the item, to make sure he called the supervisor. The supervisor came and scanned the item, she said it was $16. I told her the aisle said it was $12, I told her aren't you supposed to give me the price as it says on the shelf? With a rude tone, she said no"

Worst customer service. Placed a heavy item down at the edge of the conveyor (metal part) at the cash register and the cashier started yelling at the top of her lungs to not put it there. It’s heavy and putting it there won’t affect anything; people have done this at other Canadian Tires (and stores) and no one ever complains. She’s an older Asian (Chinese?) employee. Don’t know what her problem is and the manager shouldn’t hire individuals who have no customer service skills. I’d rather go to the marine drive one to avoid these types of employees.

Worst customer service. Went to the store to buy a part which was showing 2 in stock. The girl whom I asked made me feel I am bothering her and wanted me to just leave her alone. She told me to call other store and check. Came to another stock, same thing. Showing in stock but no location. The customer service person here went to look at the back to locate the part. The customer service agents needs some training. Michael from South Maine Drive location can definitely help here.

I was here just last weekend, Sunday, March 13, 2022, and I experienced the NEXT level of RETAIL marketing!!! I was looking at a Mastercraft 20V USB adapter that was priced $19.99. Originally it was labelled $19.99 in white like the others, but when I placed it back on the shelf, the label turned RED and the priced went down to a CLEARANCE price of $17.93. WOW! I looked closer and there was a sensor next every single price tag! I looked around me and then I noticed some of the tags had now changed to red clearance prices. I was sooo excited! I'm actually a Shopping Maven. I KNOW prices. Not all Canadian Tires sell items at the same prices. SURPRISE! Ironwood Canadian Tire and the Canadian Tire in Victoria (the island) always has the best prices by FAR. The store in Tsawwassen Mills comes in third place for deals. Just check the item and compare them by store online. You'll be surprised by the price difference. Right now this store has Roller Blinds for at discount prices.
