Ilana is amazing! So many my colleges recommended her, and there was a reason so many people recommended her. She is really professional, kind and very sweet! After getting acupuncture and a massage from Ilana, I immediately felt something different. I definitely will be back!

I was going to book when I realized Ilana practices here. I got a massage plus acupuncture combo from her in the past. Although she felt like a skilled masseuse in the way she interacted with my body, she ignored all of my complaints about pain and insisted they were necessary, particularly during acupuncture.I couldn't just get up and leave as I was covered in needles. I was incredibly sore for days and covered in bruises. I emailed her and she insisted that was normal.The treatment caused some nerve damage that worsened my back pain since. There are spots that never bothered me until she put a needle in them, and have given me trouble since.Insisting that pain is necessary for healing is a huge red flag. She also lectured me about being unhealthy and the consequences it would have in the long term when I was only a few pounds overweight at the time as I was dealing with severe depression. This feedback was unwanted and condescending and made me feel worse about the issues I was battling.

I was fortunate to be treated with incredible results by Ilana for my Plantar Fasciitis. Before I went to see her, I had been suffering with intense pain for almost one year. I had tried absolutely everything, including shock wave therapy. Nothing was working and it was getting even worse. I am so grateful to her, as she has cured my Plantar Fasciitis and now I am back to walking 5 kilometres every day. I would highly recommend her for any kind of treatment! I have seen many wonderful acupuncturists in my life but none as skilled and gifted as Ilana! She addressed the pain I had for months with one single session. I appreciated all the info she gave me in regards to the potential source and always checked in to see how I was doing. I knew the treatment could be a bit painful but I was ready for this issue to heal. Ilana was so kind and generous, not only with her presence but with her knowledge of the body. I felt totally safe and trusted her with the treatment plan chosen. The very next morning, I felt over 90 percent back to myself and within days, the pain was gone!!! Ilana is a very talented and exceptional healer and acupuncturist. My son is severely physically disabled and he experienced pain in his neck and back preventing him from sleeping. He was hospitalized twice for insomnia! Since we started weekly acupuncture it has not reoccurred. In addition she found a lung treatment for him with ozone therapy and he was able to avoid a hospitalization for an upper respiratory infection- that has never happened before! Every cold or flu sends him to the hospital as he can’t cough or or breathe. Ilana also recommended mushrooms and other herbs to boost all of our immune systems. Everyone in my family is much healthier due to her treatments.In addition my husband had back surgery years ago and recently experienced pain and discomfort.
