Nipika Mountain Resort

Have never stayed the night but visited many times. The owners are so nice and welcoming. We use the trails around the property. The MTB trails are lots of fun and follow the Kootenay River. Beautiful views! They also have an awesome frisbee golf course!

Just the nicest people, and the resort is perfect for a longer getaway, with plenty to do (biking, hiking, games, canoeing/rafting, swimming in the pond) or not do (comfy patios for reading, birdwatching, or just looking at the scenery). There's also a lot of history here, and the location is nicely away from the big crowds at Banff and Lake Louise, yet still within reasonable distance of Radium, Invermere, and a lot of other hikes and interesting places. It's self-catering and the kitchen (at least in our cabin) is a bit sparsely outfitted, so bring food that you can just throw on the grill or heat in a pan. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. We hope to return here every few years. Thank you!

Me and my family visit almost every summer and we never fail to enjoy this amazing outdoor retreat. It's so amazing how close you feel to nature.

Amazing stay with friends!! Great place, a lot of activities. Good selection of fat books and good area for disc golf. Loved that everything was powered by solar panels, nice to be off grid. Friendly people, great staff. Loved the sauna! Highly recommend this place.

Fantastic property, the area is so peaceful and secluded with beautiful views. The purpose of my stay was to play the Disc Golf course on the property and I am very happy I made the trip out. Great cozy cabins facing the amazing views, perfect to relax at after a long day of hiking.

Absolutely LOVE this place! The setting is unparallelled, the trail grooming absolutely TOP-NOTCH, the cabins and amenities very lovely and the service/advice from staff really superb. If you want a model for such facilities, you can't really find better in the Canadian Rockies. Maybe even anywhere!

What’s not to love? Spent a long weekend with kids and grand kids. We cross country skied on an endless selection of trails, and enjoyed some hiking in the snowshoe trails. The kids went fat biking and at the end of each day we enjoyed a fire by the rink, some skating, and a sauna! OMG! And it was all so amazing! Thank you Nipika! Truly a hidden gem!

Had a race up at the resort. It was such a wonderful day. The resort was totally ready to host us and we learnt a lot about how the resort operated and lived. Their trails are great for biking and hiking.We are hoping to stay at one of the cabins.

I drive here from Golden regularly because for some reason it's the closest place you can Nordic with your dog... and it's bloody Beautiful!! THANK YOU FOR BEING DOG FRIENDLY

The staff were super friendly and very accommodating! We came to Nordic ski and the staff were generous with their equipment, the trails were well kept and the staff were knowledgeable on the conditions of the trails and gave excellent advice on where to ski and where not to. Overall the best experience we’ve had! Thanks Nipika!
