As an interior designer who has worked with Refine Renovations for my personal renovation work and for many clients over the years, I continue to recommend James and his team.They are highly qualified, trustworthy and very dependable from beginning to end of a project.James stays involved throughout the entire process and is always accessible and accountable.

We had a major renovation competed on the first floor of our home as it was in desperate need of updating. James (the owner) worked with our designer as a team and we were extremely happy with the results. Our experience with Refine was excellent.James, who has a civil engineering education, is obviously very committed to his company and takes great pride in his work. James was fully engaged in the entire process, from the demolition all the way through to the very last touch ups at the end of the project.After getting quotes from several different contractors, we recommend Refine for the following reasons:1) Competitive pricing - Refine wasn't the least expensive option, but we feel we got very good value for the high quality of service provided.2) James' professional engineering experience adds exceptional value that other contractors couldn't match.3) Even though we certainly weren't the biggest project on his list at the time, James made us feel important and took the time to listen to our questions.4) Many of Refine's employees have been with James for many years, to us this is a sign of a well run company. We have an older home and needing good upgrades. James and his team remodelled our basement 2 years ago and worked on additional upgrades this year. James & team are reliable and offer amazing service! Have used them a few years ago for a large store renovation that included plumbing, painting, new electrical work, bathroom & kitchen renovation and store set up and display. All the workers were on time and timely to finish ahead of deadline time.Called this morning to get some electrical and plumbing work done and he stated he was able to have someone over within the hour. They were on time and was finished everything I needed in about an hour!Will be using them again and would completely recommend them 100%!

James, Dwayne, Chris, Kris, Frank, Ashley and many others of this Team were very professional. They built us a very complicated Legal Basement Suite. Our daughter and son-in-law had used James in their previous build of a basement suite and we were very impressed with their workmanship on their build as well. So we enlisted James and his team to do our project. The were FABULOUS!Their creativity, planning, communication and execution of the project was VERY FIRST CLASS! They not only did a great job on the project, we appreciated that they were very tidy and cleaned up every night before they went home. They were extremely accommodating. Refine Renovations: A Great guy, and has a great team. On January 2019, we decided to make finish it our basement. ( When we purchased our home, it was unfinished basement we got). We tried to find good companies, almost we checked 5 weeks, we saw and read many horror stories ( I appricieated who shares their experience with public) All those reviews really very helpful, and make difference for everybody. Lots of scammers around, and they try to get your money and not complete it your job. After 5 -6 companies they came to our home and did estimations. One of them James ( Refine Renovations). He told us upfront everything, what he can do, what can not do! How long it takes, what is the payment schedule, who gets permits etc? James very straightforward guy who manage company. During the basement finishing process, he came to our home at least 7-8 times, and when we choose bathroom tiles etc, he comes with us and help us. Plus he comes to IKEA and help us choose some cabinets. ( Normally they are cabinet makers as well but he never push us to buy their cabinets). He has a gerat team, from plumbing to painting they did great work.(Note I only get mad to carpet installation guys but it's ok not a big deal:)))James told us they will finish 2 months ( 8 weeks). They finished it in 6 weeks. They did excellent jobs, plus what ver he gave me quote upfront, exactly same amount we paid. REFINE RENOVATIONS, I recommend to everyone who lives Edmonton,Alberta and surrounding areas. We need honest business like Refine Renovations. Thank you James.
