Peter's Tackle and Bait

Been coming here for a while now. Really helped assisted me as an angler to grow with the proper equipment at a budget I was comfortable with. Never pushy for you to buy. In fact one time I went into the store asking for heavier line, instead the store owner Angie told me to learn to tie a certain new knot instead. In fact she even provided me with a demonstration right in front of me. Also Brian who works there is also super knowledgeable and has been helping me for a long time!

Absolutely great value place, kind staff, and able to answer any question you can throw at them.Absolutely the place to shop for fishing stuff.The only downsides is they are somewhat limited on the variety of creature baits they have (they primarily tubes, worms, craws) so you won't get some of the more interesting/nich plastics. No biggy. They do have a huge selection of flies.On the upside you can get tubes in bulk, and they have a great selection of terminal tackle, and great stuff for species such as carp and catfish that are typically ignored by more mainstream shops in the area.They also have a wide selection of reels and great fishing combos. My girlfriend picked up a combo to start fishing with me for $25. Can't beat it.You can buy line in bulk, and they often sell live bait if you want it. Heck they even have lures for panfishing.If your planning on going to bass pro, or some large store, stop here first. It'll be worth it.

Awesome fishing store. Excellent staff. I go there whenever I'm in the area. Just picked up a kingpin imperial 475. They had it on sale, saved $100

Great service very knowledgeable and good prices

Easily the best bait and tackle store in the Niagara region. Better prices than a lot of places that I’ve seen, loads of stock that is actually relevant to the local fish, and they can order if they don’t have something you need. Actual knowledgeable staff who can answer questions and make recommendations where needed. Would, and do, recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t already know about them.

Great fishing shop

Angela is the sweetest and most knowledgeable person for a tackle shop. This is my second home. Quality products for a great price.

Great fishing store, the owner was outside today teaching a young boy how to cast, she is such a great person. Saw them in the store and she was helping him pick out a few things he will need, she may even have been just giving him the stuff from what I could hear. I got a few extra items that I didn't really need just because of that, at least that's the story I told my wife....

Just had my first visit to Peter's tackle. Great experience. Plenty of selection and the guy who was helping pick out colors and lures was very informative and helpful. I wish I got his name. Cant wait to go back. The only drawback to the store is, it's only open limited hours. Kinda hard for the average working person to get there but the store is worth going to if you can find the time. Thank you again Peter's. Cant wait to go try some of this new tackle!
