International Buddhist Society

One of my favorite places to come and meditate, find peace and tranquility. People here are all amazing, the facility is clean. The location has easy access. The property has lots of deities, incense, places to meditate and things to view. Regardless is you are a Buddhist practitioner or not, this place is worth the detour and the visit for sure.

It’s hard to find parking when there’s holiday or crowded, better to park somewhere near it and walk.Very beautiful place, can feel the serenity once you go inside. Remember not to scream or yell inside the temple to be polite.

The International Buddhist Society is a wonderful place for anyone seeking peace and guidance in their spiritual journey. The temple is beautifully decorated and the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. This sacred site is a must visit when traveling thru the area. It is a large sprawling complex with a meditation hall, Great Hall with a 30 foot statue of the seated Buddha, a dining hall, housing for the monks and nuns, plus gardens and a pond. There are shrines set up throughout the grounds and the main purpose of the sure is for worship and Spiritual blessings. Please be respectful when you visit as there will be people whose only reason for visiting is to connect with the divine. Photography is prohibited in some areas and silence is appropriate in most.

This was a very serene place to visit and experience. Certainly interesting structures (from the outside and inside), gardens etc. but what struck me was the feelings of 'peace' that was exuded.

This authentic Buddhist temple will have you convinced you were transported to China. The architecture, the statuary, and the sacred vibration are all straight from the heart of the Buddha. If you visit please be mindful of the fact that this is a sacred site meant for worship and meditation. There are areas open for ancestor worship, group meditation, and for silent contemplation. Cameras are not allowed in all areas due to the spiritual focus and presence of worshipers. Please be respectful and be prepared to be touched in your heart.
