Not Just Another Dance Studio

Had my daughters birthday party at the studio. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was great with toddlers, kept the kids engaged and the party loved the dance.Thank you!

My children and I recently joined the NJADS family and were welcomed with open arms. The teachers are patient and use gentle corrections to improve the dancer's technique. Both of my girls have grown new confidence with not just their dance but with themselves as young adults.

This was my daughters first year of dance and she absolutely loved it! She got comfortable in the studio so quickly and has made many friends amongst both dancers and staff. We are looking forward to having Miss Natalie again for the 23-24 season - Thanks NJADS for welcoming us!

Unprofessional and unorganized. I’m not sure what the ladies at the desk really do besides eat and gossip.. instructors seem like they don’t want to participate .. much rather be playing on their phones.. skip the dishes must love this place .. really is just another dance studio.

Edit*: increasing from 3 to 4 stars. the studio was able to resolve the issue and I was very satisfied with the outcome; however, it did take a 3 star review to get the change. I have subsequently enrolled my kids in toddler classes and pre ballet and myself in the fitness pass. I will continue to use their facility and would recommend others to use it. If you have trouble I suggest perseverance to get it resolved. Once the right people were involved everything got smoothed out.Original: Instructor has been fine, volume of music was a bit too much for a toddler class. Very frustrated with admin. Way too many emails means we miss information that was actually important for the class registrations. Signed up for a waitlist got an email that they weren't sure when there would be room but there were other free classes, then two weeks later the day of the class we get an email that she is enrolled and charged for that class. No notice at all. When we reasonably asked that that class not be charged to us we were sent the policy. (Which we missed due to the volume of emails from this company) The detail that the charge would occurr automatically was not clear to us.If you are a dance parent" maybe this studio is for you

My daughter has been taking dance lessons here for two months now.Miss Sydney, her teacher is a joy to be around.My child is very active, and loves to run around in class. She understands that they are still little (2.5 years old) and encourages the students to interact with her and participate in the class.I also felt very welcomed by the Owner, Amanda. We were sent a nice welcome package, and they have an online system where you can register for classes, check your payments, etc.This is the first dance studio that I have ever been to, and between the quality of the classes/teacher, and the fact that it’s affordable (we are able to put our child in for a full school year worth of classes), we are looking forward to many years here.There is also ample parking behind the building. It was a bit hard to find at first, but once you know it’s there, you won’t forget it!

My oldest daughter has danced at NJADS since 2012 when she was just 4 and is now turning 15! The relationships and bonds she has developed at the studio with peers, teachers and the staff have made her thrive and discover her passion for dance. Her teachers and studio owner Amanda have been the best role models for her and helped her in studio and out of studio. She wouldn’t be the amazing young lady she is today I think with out their input. We love our dance family.

Just wanted to thank you so much for selling me tickets to my daughter's recital and then you place the kids so deep on the stage and essentially off stage where we couldn't even see our daughter - great placement of the speakers.Oh, and also when she was on stage you graciously placed a dance teacher directly IN FRONT of the kids dancing so we couldn't see her there either. Thanks for a wasted year.

My daughter began dancing at NJADS 9 years ago at age 3, and my son started 5 years ago when he was 2. All of the instructors are kind, patient & caring with their instruction and feedback, which is always appropriate for the age & skill levels of the students in each class.The studio has provided leadership opportunities for our daughter as an assistant teacher as she has become more involved, which has added to her self-confidence and dance skills.The front desk staff at both locations are helpful and get back to us quickly to resolve concerns or questions when asked. We couldn't be happier with our choice of studio and wouldn't consider going anywhere else.
