Spice Mart South Indian Take out and Grocery

Recently ordered some food via Uber but they missed all side dishes and not for the first time. They should take responsibility for their own mistakes. Food is great btw.

This is the best place for the South Indian food and grocery items in Barrie. Simple, good Indian cuisine that will please all food enthusiasts. Staff was fast and pleasant, food tasted very good, portions are surprisingly large and I didn't wait long. This shop has a great location, it's close to everything.

I am a huge fan of Indian food and this was my go to place till today morning. I had food (Rice with 2 non-veg sides) from here yesterday night and I woke up to a bad tummy ache and since then I am camping in my washroom.I just took my second pills for the day, hoping to get a relief. ☹️Sorry! My health and well-being is more important.

I hate giving bad reviews but this one, I have no choice because it is a risk to other people as well if I don't share this experience. It happened to me and my friend after getting beef curry from the shop. Getting curries from Spice mart is a very convenient choice and it wasn't the first time we were doing it. But this time it costed us a good amount of time in the toilet in the form of diarrhoea. It was so much worse for my friend as he was the one who had most of the curry. I really doubt the hygiene of the shop . I have heard other negative comments from people but never really believed until it happened to us. I had a bad experience once shopping there when I was made to wait at least 20 minutes to get my items billed. But I didn't comment about it because it didn't cost me my health. But this time it's different. I hope if the customer's are experiencing such diarrhoea frequency after eating from Spice mart, the cooks should get tested or be educated about personal hygiene or cross contamination after finding out the cause.

We had Beef cutlets, egg puffs and beef curry. Beef curry was one of the worst I've ever had and very pricey too. Felt like the chef has lost his passion. Snacks was ok.

Food was delicious and mouth watering i am missing homely foods from my home here the answer is the only preferable south indian food destination in barrie

Really enjoy the Hot table items when they come out fresh. The Menu for the hot table is not always the same but we like the variety of things we have tried like the biriyani, chicken 65 and curry beef

One of the best Indian cuisine I have ever tried in canada . Food is so delicious . Staffs are so friendly. I tried kappa and fish curry it was so delicious just like truly homemade . I would 100% recommend this place if you are craving for authentic Indian food .
