The Rex

I am Atilla’s (previous post) girlfriend and have spent lots of time in his apartment, unit 207 at 33677 King Road. The amount of noise coming from the unit above his is simply unbelievable. Furniture is being dragged and/or bowling balls are being dropped at all hours. Repeated complaints to Property Management have yielded zero results (so please don’t bother commenting here). The garbage & recycling bins are located as far from the building as you can get, so inconvenient. The underground parking spots are narrow so good luck if your neighbour parks on or close to the line. The added traffic and noise whenever there’s an event at the Abbotsford Centre is insane. I’m so happy he’s moving out. Definitely would not recommend this place!

Priyesh and the other managers have been very accommodating and helpful from the start. The apartments are cozy and smaller than the average apartment, but they include in-suite laundry and provide many amenities such as a gym and a soon-to-be open bubble tea store, which makes the apartment well worth it. The courtyard and garden area are always being worked on which is great. They’ve followed our contract and always have respected our privacy. We’ve been here since they opened the first building and we have yet to complain about management. Overall 10/10 would recommend.

I was a tenant at The Rex from the beginning and had nothing but a positive experience for 2 1/2 years. From the original management team and throughout the transition to the new management team, the representatives were always available to deliver outstanding customer service. Special acknowledgments to Niki and Simm who were always friendly and professional when needed. I would highly recommend The Rex to anyone looking for a place to call home!

The place is very secure and has everything you need. The management and staff are more than accommodating. Very impressed with the help I got before moving in.

Had a great experience here! The unit was clean, bright and new. The under ground is well lit, safe and secure. The gym is always clean and equipment new and operating. The staff were so kind to me from the start to finish. I had to transfer provinces due to my father's health which resulted in me breaking the lease. The staff were so helpful and considerate! I work shift work and they managed to find a new tenant without disturbing me at all so that I would not have any penalties for breaking my lease. There was no issues with the move out inspection, no random charges and I was given my deposit back. I wish I didn't have to move! A huge thank you to Niki and Priyesh!

My daughter contacted them last week and was told the one bedroom was 1400.00 a month then she contacted them yesterday and it is now 1500.00. I really feel that it depends on who answers the email as to what the cost is. She asked if they had anything less and was told no yet on the web is shows a studio with the same sq. feet as the one bedroom and is just over 1300.00 so is there someone there that can tell us the truth and be accurate about the cost???? and what is available.

I am an independent contractor who is hired by the strata to undertake maintenance work throughout the complex. I deal with Niki all of the time. Niki is extremely polite and kind, her people managing skills are second to none, it’s clear that she is well liked by all the tenants. I look forward to the next phone call from Niki and being requested to help out around The Rex complex.

Our apartment is SO CLEAN and so modern and so high-tech, we absolutely love it!!! It's really showroom condition. Our floor's outside hallway is super quiet and there is zero sound or smell from neighbours. Niki is also very knowledgable and helpful and assisted us 100% in our move-in. Zero complaints from us. Will DEFINITELY recommend this property to family and friends.

My husband and I (and our 2 pups) have called The Rex our home for the last year. Our experience here has been great! The building and grounds are clean and well-maintained. Kudos to the cleaners and grounds crew! The tenants are respectful and friendly. Niki has been very key in her role of management and now Anastasia and Simm have joined the team. These lovely ladies are always gracious and quick to solve issues. Gonna miss you all!

The Rex is a very secure and clean apartment and that has not changed since moving in 2020! Their management team is very nice and always willing to help with any issues even emergencies. The cleaners are always on top of making all thallways and entrances looking spectacular and welcoming. The apartment building I've been renting from is quite quiet aside from a few excited puppers returning or going for a walk which in all honesty is nothing to complain about as I love that it is an pet friendly apartment.The down side I would say is the one elevator per apartment it does make it hard to grocery shop and come back to a (sometimes) surprised locked elevator and have to try to muscle up a few flights of stairs. Though the management team does try to put up notices in advance of when the elevators will be locked out from so you can try to plan around this the best you can.All in all I love living at the Rex I would highly reccomend it.
