Vinh from True Blue is a true customer satisfaction oriented contractor with very reasonable price. He was responsive and flexible to any design changes while provided option to get best result. We are happy with all our completed bathrooms upgrade and his quality of works.

I can’t believe it’s taken me a year to write this review since I’ve never been as impressed with other businesses as I am with TruBlue. We contacted Vinh to complete our rented basement on a limited budget. Not only did he work with what we could afford, he exceeded - and I mean far exceeded- our expectations. I do NOT say this lightly.Vinh arrived always on time! And always with a pleasant attitude. He is extremely precise in his workmanship - detail oriented, calculating, organized, methodical. He turned our dungeon of an incomplete basement into a haven for our family - beautiful and complete with solid laminate floors.We have found our forever company. When we buy our own home, TruBlue is certainly our go to for all renovations!

We had a great experience with TrueBlue Renovations. Vinh was responsive and professional. Everything was done on schedule, including additional items we added to the scope of the project.Our basement had some flooding in February, so we hired Vinh and his team to complete the repairs and renovate the basement. We absolutely love the end result, and now get to enjoy the space every day. As an added bonus, the new insulation and other repairs done have significantly lowered our heating/cooling costs each month, and the temperature is more balanced throughout the entire home.We highly recommend Vinh and his team, and they are our number one choice for all our future projects.

True blue were referred to me by a friend of mine, and this was by far the best renovating experience we ever had. Can’t say enough about Vinh and his team member Wazed. very honest, Professional, plans ahead and punctual #alwaysontime.I have a busy life with my family and when I called Vinh back in February to plan to finish our basement. He was very responsive from the beginning, very through and always paying attention to details. Vinh Doesn’t do a cookie cutter job,he treats your house as if it’s his own, very friendly and always positive and cheerful either himself or the whole team. I never felt pressured in doing anything we didn’t want, open minded and doesn’t oppose new ideas. True Blue Renovations has renovated for me twice. In total I have hired them for two bathrooms, a laundry room, an entrance, and I have plans for much more. Their work is impeccable, they are very professional, prices are fair, and I know they stand behind anything if I ever were to have an issue. I can’t recommend them enough and I am so happy that I found Vinh (the owner) and his company.

I have only good things to say about my ensuite project done by True Blue Renovations - Vinh and his team of professionals. Vinh not only helped me with everything leading to the project including design, purchasing items but also assured me throughout the project in case if anything was delayed. He truly takes every single project as something he would do at his own house, he cared about every single detail even more than I did. His work is clearly his pride and joy, I wouldn’t say this about any of the contractors I had in the past. His prices are reasonable and his work is immaculate, professional and truly amazing. We used True Blue Renovations to renovate our kitchen and added a custom walk-in pantry and we could not be happier with the results. They were professional, managed the project on time and on budget. They delivered us our dream kitchen which exceeded our expectations and it’s now our favourite room in the house. We will be calling them again soon to take on our basement renovation. Don’t hesitate to call, the owner will personally give you the assessment and be on the job site daily.

I really liked Vin. I’m a big fan of supporting small contractors and he lives close to me. Big win, I thought..Vin did my subway tiles in my kitchen and Installed a hood fan for his first visit. Note that my under lighting was installed before the tiles and I told him about it. When he was done, it looked good. I turned the lights on and hot mess. Completely uneven. What Vin did not know, is under lighting reveals all flaws.I’m an introvert, so it took time to consume this, but like I said, I liked the guy. Need my basement floor done and paint so ask him to come back. He did a great job setting Costco tiles, trim and paint. Although I had to add a few coats he missed. Still a good job. He also took out my old projection TV to trash it. Huge win! How can you not like this guy??On payment for the basement, I show him the tiles again. This introvert is ready, and having spent a few weeks around him, I knew he’d do the right thing. He agrees right away that he should have used lights. Mistakes happen. So rather than cost him a few days lost in labour plus cost materials (at least 2k). I ask him to install two sinks in my bathrooms. Simple install, sinks would fit perfectly replacing old. Vin eagerly agrees and says he’ll even give me spare sinks. He left one at the house and will do it personally after hours.One week turns into two, turns into months, so I txt him. Ask him when he’s coming. I was not expecting a response, but he does. Says a few months. At that point I was mad. The sinks would have taken him 2 hours and he could have just popped by on his way home a few times a week. Note that I got them installed with real contractors and it took 2 hours $300.At this point (before I got the sinks done) I just ask him to come replace the bad tile job. I knew how this was going down. He said no, I won’t do it. I respected that and told him, drop the other sink off and we’ll never speak of this again. He never responded. Hence, this review.I have no clue why some nice people revert all their integrity for a few hours of time. This review does not make me happy since I know he’s a nice guy. I was even going to give him 200 cash if he did showed up. Regardless, if you do hire him, he will do a decent job. BUT DO NOT PAY HIM until you are happy. My one star is only because I’m so disappointed. Our personal integrity is all we have and is what defines us. Vinh has decided to not have any for a few hours time
