Excellent customer service, the employee took the time to explain pricing policy and provided an approximate quote in the phone when I indicated I wanted to have a clear idea before going on-site. Price offered is business standard, but with courteous service and transparent information. Although I didn’t decide if I would sell it there, I would recommend their services if you’re looking to sell gold quickly at a fair market price (still below gold spot price).

I took various pieces of old jewellery into Canada Gold, Ottawa West, and was very satisfied with the service I received. It was the first time I had ever sold gold, and I was a concerned about whether I would receive a good price. Joaquin explained exactly how the value would be determined and patiently answered any questions I had. He even explained the science behind the tests used to determine the karat value of the gold. He was a pleasure to deal with, and I was very satisfied with the price offered.

Excellent experience a few weekends ago. They were very busy and kept apologizing for the wait and offered me a chair while I waited. Joaquin was very informative, talked me through pricing and was very transparent on the process, doing all calculations in front of me and showing me the current value of my items on the computer. Did the tests and authenticated my items quickly, but I never felt rushed and was given fair market value. I traveled from out of town and will be doing so again as they truly give the best value back. Have already told my friends and family looking to offload any gold pieces to make the trip.

Mitchell helped me get rid of some gold and jewelry. Explained the process, informative, showed me exactly what he was doing with the various pieces. There was no mystery, up selling, haggling or confusing procedure. It was quick, simple. My estimated value was pretty much what I received. Would recommend them. In fact we are returning with more.

I went to Ottawa Gold on Carling Avenue today to help out a relative with getting a quote on her jewelry. Tanner was the gold dealer who helped me out. He was professional, very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all the questions that I had. He even took the time to organize the jewelry into separate bags to make it easier to show my relative the types of gold and silver that were in each category. Brought some gold jewellery in to Canada Gold, Ottawa East. It was sitting in the drawer collecting dust for years. I was greeted by Mitchell who walked me through the entire process. He was very patient and answered all my questions. I was very happy with the amount of money received for the few articles of gold. Would highly recommend this business.
