Canadian Filaments

Great experience, and fantastic passion for printing.Filament took some tinkering first run though but higher heat lower retraction and a slightly slower print solved all my issues.

I've printed about 20kg worth of their filament and it's easily some of the best filament I've worked with, I highly recommend it

I've used Canadian Filaments for several 3D projects and they have never failed me. One of my largest prints that I asked for was to make a press for making ceramic plates.

I love that these guys are experimenting with some unique filament textures. It's nice to be able to get filament that's actually made in Canada and I also appreciate their commitment to sustainability with their cardboard filament spools.I feel good buying from a company that cares about sustainability and I'm looking forward to trying some of the new experimental colours and textures as they come out.

Best 3d printing filament and printing services in the city! I've used Canadian Filaments twice now and they have been excellent both times. First time I used them at the beginning of the pandemic to 3d print some door openers for me and my friends, the quality of the plastic is strong and smooth, a year later and I'm still using it to open my doors. The second time was to 3d print a gift for my friend's birthday, the quality and colour of the filament was top notch. The gift was on short notice, but the owner Alex still delivered on time and with exceptional service. I continue to be a returning costumer in the future! :)

Canadian Filaments is top of the line. The results speaks for itself. Body is Canadian Filament PLA and red parts are Polymaker PETG solid red. Can't wait for them to add more unique popping colors to their store.

I bought some textured black PLA from Canadian filaments on a whim. I ordered them at 5:03pm on a Tuesday. I received a text message at 8:09pm saying my filament was on my porch! I also had the opportunity to meet with Alex from Canadian Filaments as he also donated some filament for some prints I will be doing for The Art for Heart silent auction. He took some time out of his busy day to show me how the filament was made, it was super cool. The textured black is AMAZING to print. It's got such a unique feel to the print, photos honestly do not do them justice. The texture is similar to the texture of a Prusa textured print bed sheet, just all over the print. I really hope he makes other colours in the textured line (hint hint Alex) If you 3D print and live in the Edmonton or surrounding area you definitely order some and give it a try. If you don't live in Edmonton order some you won't be disappointed.
