Grand Canadian Resort

We stayed here in a 2 bedroom unit as time share guests. Nothing fancy but had everything that we needed. Check-in was simple and straightforward. Photocopying/faxing available at front desk. Really liked the parking underground and the well equipped kitchen. In particular, it actually had a non-stick frying pan that was non-stick - unlike all other time share units we've been to where the non-stick frying pans were complete disasters

The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and not willing to help one bit. There is no other staff around in the entire place except for the rude lady at the front desk. Wouldn’t go back here again. And wouldn’t recommend others to go here.

Very nicely decorated and clean rooms and bathrooms. Reception ladies only available 830-500pm. Underground parking garage. Pool down for repairs but probably available soon after we leave. Great views out the livingroom. I would rate our stay 4+, glad we picked this resort.

We recently stayed at this resort for spring break 2021. We had a very spacious unit which had everything a family would need for a comfortable stay. Pool/Hot tub times had to be booked in advance and we didn't mind the 30 mins allowed to each family to enjoy. The resort is walking distance to the downtown Canmore. Everyone is my family can't wait to go back once the weather warms up a bit.

This review is on the resort and not the location. Rooms were clean and spacious. The reason they were spacious though was the lack of comfortable seating for guests. In a room that sleeps 8 and only having a couch and one chair is massively unacceptable. Kitchen needs upgrades in the dishes and utensils. The king bed had a very soft pillow top on it. This is not acceptable. While some may find this comfortable you by logic leave out the vast majority of people who need something other than super soft to sleep on. Why they would not have used a standard medium soft mattress catering to the most users I have no clue. Wifi was good. Tvs are tiny at best. This place needs some upgrades.

A very homely and pleasant suite with 5 star facilities and maintenance. The suite is fully equipped with a complete kitchen, spacious and luxurious bedrooms with comfortable beds and washrooms, laundry, balcony, jacuzzi etc. The resort is in a central location with a short drive to Banff and Lake Louis and situated close to the heart of Canmore downtown. Overall, the resort is an excellent option for tourists visiting the Banff and nearby areas

Nice little place for a getaway. Rooms were beautiful with great views, clean and tidy. Pool was clean. Maintenance staff friendly. Maybe a few extra amenities like extra blankets and towels would be nice.

Amazing view, apartment will set up, everything clean and ready when we got there, heating of the pool appreciated as was the safety, parking was great, plenty of towels. Some things to think about:1. Temperature of the oven was below standard2. Dishwasher did not clean adequately3. Dishwashing liquid soap was substandard and definitely not enough.4. Kitchen faucet leakedDespite these frustrations, our time was wonderful!

The hot water quit in room. Could only have a cold shower! The bathrooms had complimentary items but the body lotions were both 1/2 used with seals broken.Front staff busy txting - not doing anything! Hotel luggage trollers lined 2nd floor - you knew staff never checked any hallways or facilities.Rooms were beautiful 18 years ago but extremely run down with ZERO up keep or improvements!I wouldn’t stay here, if you have a choice. That’s hard to say as we are owners.

We stayed at the Grande Canadian through a time share. The location was beautiful and the outdoor hot tub and pool was a great amenity. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. The decor was a bit dated and the furniture was well used. Would definitely stay again.
