Charleson Dog Park
Very beautiful park and walk by the sea inlet. Great view of the downtown and the Camvie and Granville bridges. Has protected view of the mountains as well. Just a few minutes walk from Granville Island

Both areas next to the big pond are part of the off leash area - both the fenced off area, AND the hills next to the residential buildings on the East side. You can find free parking by the residential area South of 7th Ave around Laurel St, and walk across the little park bridge which extends the park over the busy 6th Ave.Good variety of terrain for dogs to play - field, pond, waterfall, hills, woods, bushes... Friendly people and well-behaved dogs.

having a dedicated park for dogs anywhere in downtown Vancouver is phenomenal. But this park offers something extra because not only is the ocean in front of you, you have a freshwater spring behind you. With mountain views along the seawall, this park is a does paradise.

One of the best dog parks in Vancouver. Fenced in and safe for pups, all dogs there are friendly. Nice wet river area nearby to get properly soaked ridden chase session. The large field grass area is fine in summer if not a little dusty, unfortunately in winter the place becomes an unusable bog. Which is a shame. But dogs don’t care and enjoy it regardless. Which is the most important thing, right?

Quite easy to go, a nice place to visit and walk around, there is also a children playground where kids can spend a couple of hours there. Be aware of the bicycles, you will be hit if you are too concentrated on the beautiful scenaries.

Paid $10 for parking then found out I can not let my puppies off leash because there is no fenced-in area.Beautiful area is great for older dogs who are trained but very poor area for young puppies learning basic commands and socialisation.

Massive, mostly fenced, grass dog park with hills, water access. Beautiful views and more than enough room for dogs to chase and tumble.

I love this dog park. Most of the time great behaved dogs here. Lots of room to run and a nice little pond for them to get wet in with fresh cycled water. The pond was filled a bit so not quite deep enough for dogs to jump into which is too bad. But a great way for them to cool off in the summer.
