Buzz Stop Fine Coffees And Teas

Like the name says - fine coffees! Can't agree more. They sell a large selection of fresh ground coffees; so much that it was difficult to decide which to get.They had three different roasts brewed for take out, or to drink on their little patio out front. They also sell a variety of imported cookies and other delicacies.Friendly person behind the counter - will absolutely have to go there again the next time I'm in Stratford!

Shopping ar this store feels like a story by Kafka. There are coffee beans everywhere, but you can’t buy an espresso. I’ve been in this store twice in two years and both times I couldn’t get an espresso even though I was staring at their machine. The first time it was “broken,“ but this time the situation was truly absurd. The clerk said that machine is working, but they don’t have it on. However she was insistent that it was working. Maybe she thought that would give me some comfort.

Visited store on vacation, I bought some Ethiopian coffee - Mocha Limu. Best coffee, I ever had! I cannot drink black coffee because I find it to be very bitter. This coffee is so smooth and delicious, it requires no addition of milk or cream which is great for the waistline when you drink a lot of coffee like me. I highly recommend you try it. I also learned from staff, that Mocha does not mean the coffee is chocolate flavoured. She further elaborated, that was a Starbucks thing.

Buzz Stop on York Street is Stratford’s best kept secret. It’s always a pleasure to pop in and see Nancy. Each day three different blends of brewed coffees are featured. Bar none best price in town! If you get a chance swing by on a Friday when Snickerdoodle is the flavour of the day.

Unfortunately I live in Stratford, if that isn’t bad enough. The only cigar shop in this god forsaken hipster town has the worst selection and most unfriendly owner in history!! I seemed to bother Nancy for some reason. Even though our conversation was brief ( over the telephone ) I got the vibe I was really just a hindrance in her day.Although I was there the previous day and spent 75$ on 3 over priced cigars, I won’t be going back ever again. Thankfully I’ve found a reason not to go back and give her my money. I’d rather drive to Kitchener and hit up the walper tobacco !When I asked how Nancy was she replied with a stone cold “fine” and silence.Now usually I give people the benifit.. but as a paying customer already days previous, I took her rude attitude personal this time !I felt it appropriate to say I’m doing fine as well thanks for asking.Well she did t not like that!! She swiftly replied with “ well I don’t see the need to know how everyone’s hemroids are doing “Sorry to paint that image in your head. But that is al !!

AMAZING Coffee!!! Highly recommend if you are a coffee connoisseur, and LOVE coffee as much as I do! You won’t be disappointed. Another bonus, is they welcome dogs and LOVE them as much as I do. My little guy was super happy with the treats! The guy working at the shop was super friendly and polite. Which made the experience that much better. Keep up the great work :)

Got a Guatemalan coffee and you can instantly tell that it’s high quality, very aromatic!

Been going here since we moved to Stratford 2 1/2 years ago. Great selection of coffees but we have found the Costa Rican most to our liking.Recommend stopping in now if you are looking for foodie gifts. They are full of items you won’t find many other places.

I’m not one to write a bad review, but the owner was incredibly unfriendly and unwelcoming. Popped in to grab a cup of coffee and she was chatting up the customer before us, that she knew, sharing laughs, and being very friendly. The tone suddenly shifted when it was our turn- very curt towards us. Although there is an assortment of coffees and teas to purchase here, there was not much to try on hand. Hot coffee only. Which isn’t bad- but the service was not the greatest. Not going back.

Great little cigar/coffee purveyor in Stratford. Visited for first time yesterday, looked around and ended up buying a handful for stogies.I'll definitely stop by next time I'm in town again.Keep up the great job!
