Thanks to Winskis, my engagement and wedding rings are looking amazing after some much-needed TLC due to 12/10 years of everyday wear. They actually are looking better than new! I'm honestly so happy with how they look, a perfect way to mark our 10-year anniversary.My engagement ring had lost a number of small diamonds but they were able to arrange repair really quickly and easily. The customer service was brilliant and I was kept up to date at every stage of the process while my ring was away, inc the costs involved. I swore I'd never go back to this place, after many years ago they charged me £25 for two 24mm spring bars. They had me over a barrel though and they knew that, so I had to pay. Never been back, until today. My Wife pops in today to have a wedding ring stretched, which is essentially two taps of a hammer on a conical ring stretcher (not even a minutes work), and they wanted £50?. This is typical of this place, and so disappointing that things haven't changed.

A wonderful store whose services are wonderful! I got my engagement ring resized down and it took no time at all and the price was very competitive considering it is white gold! Staff were friendly and helpful and I ordered my wedding ring through them as well, which arrived at the correct time and fitted perfectly.

I have mixed reviews of this business. We have used it to replace batteries in watches and for small repairs to jewellery and have usually been pleased with the quality of the work, the service received and the friendliness of the staff. Most recently, I wanted an estimate to service and repair a vintage Breitling Chronograph. The watch worked fine and kept good time but the chronograph start/stop button only worked occasionally. The estimated cost for the repair and service was considerably more than I expected or was prepared to pay so I didn't authorise the work. When the watch was returned to me nothing worked so I returned it. It was repaired but the watch now runs about 30 minutes fast per day. What I hadn't realised is that this business no longer carries out repairs to vintage watches with mechanical movements in-house but instead uses a subcontractor. I can recommend this business but not their current subcontractor, whoever that is.

Handed my watch in for a new strap and battery after the 'watch doctor' in Kingsgate shopping centre couldn't open the back of my watch and scratched it trying.Winskis sorted it in 2 mins and ordered a perfect replacement strap with neat perfect matching colour for a reasonable price.They have been at the bottom of Dunfermline highstreet longer than I've been alive and know a thing or two to say the least.Highly recommended.
