Dynacare Laboratory and Health Services Centre

This morning I went to this clinic and was in and out in 15 min. The women (I think Barb) was so nice. She spoke to me and made me feel comfortable. She was quick and painless with the needle. She made sure I was okay to stand and leave. Told me I could sit there as long as I needed.

I drove from Rural South Ottawa to get my requisition done.I walked in ,5min later I was getting a Ecg and Blood work done and was out in less than 10min..The room was pretty empty as I heard some places was a hour wait..I was glad they were quick..Thank you Carleton Place Dyna care..

I always make the drive to carleton place to come here for bloodwork. Very friendly and fast service, plus you can skip the wait by checking in online before you arrive. 10/10 would let them draw blood again

I've been here a couple of times and I've had nothing but positive experiences. I love their online check in feature, it saves time, they're already expecting you and there's no waiting in line. The staff was very friendly and professional.

When local older people, especially the disabled, walk in with a requisition from their Doctors office, they should be served if currently no one is ahead of them. No one should have to wait an hour, especially for someone that could go elsewhere, because they’ve booked on line and still never showed up on time. It’s discrimination. If no one is there it should be first come first serve, especially for blood tests.

I have been to this lab many times. I currently have a standing order there, but I am not going back. I am actually driving in to Ottawa now and having my lab work done at the General. I do this for 3 reasons: first, the lab is understaffed, particularly in the early morning, which results in an endless wait. Making an appointment doesn't help. The system they are using does not work. Secondly, the staff are overworked, thus are surly and sometimes nasty. Not all of them, but it happens enough that I am done. There are two technicians at the blood lab I go to in Ottawa. They handle hundreds of patients a day and are never like this. Finally, after two episodes of my results being late to arrive, and thus delaying, and in one case canceling my treatment, I am done with this lab.

Love this place! Today was my first visit. Very caring and polite staff!

I am so impressed by this clinic. I have a very difficult time having blood extracted and sometimes go into panic mode. Sabrina, you are the best. Next time I have to have blood tests off to Carleton Place I go.

This has got to be the worst lab ever!! I was there yesterday and waited 1 hour and 45 minutes with my 95 year old grandmother who needs the aid of a walker to get her blood work done. When finished we were asked to return a urine sample the next day to go with her requisition and to just knock on the door to drop it off and that we would not have to re-wait all that time again. Well, when we went to drop off urine sample the next day, we knocked on the door and the staff member inside came out and was shouting at us saying we were not following protocol and being rude to us. When we explained to her that it went with a requisition from the day prior, she was still being rude stating WELL I DIDNT WORK HERE YESTERDAY
