We really enjoyed their light and sound show - it was fun, creative and informative! Definitely worth seeing if you're interested in the history of Quebec City. Their gift shop is cute and the staff was very nice and helpful.

This might not be for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The light show is an interesting unique way to tell the history of Quebec. I don't think I'll forget what I learned that day.The staff are super friendly and there are shows all day in English and French. It only takes around 40 mins and it's pretty cheap, so if you're looking for something to do or wan't to take the kids to an interesting educational experience, I would recommend this.

Some of the technology is starting to feel a bit dated, but the show is still very good, very informative, and fairly memorable. Probably the most effective way to learn the history of the city and province on a trip to Quebec city. Good value for families, although very small children might find some of the stimulated gunfire frightening.Excellent customer service.

The history buff I was with enjoyed the show and the girl staffing the place was very friendly. But I've seen much more detailed dioramas that give a greater understanding of events and history. Also I got distracted by the film playing on the wall behind the model, which varied between showing really important information and magnified sketchy images of the model below.

I would not qualify this as a museum per se. It is a very small theater which projects the history of Quebec in a screen and highlights places, ships and troops in a 3d map. Worth it? YES, I had never understood the history of Quebec city and the importance of Plains of Abraham " and the Citadel until I saw this "documentary" in the museum.Pro Tip: If you go eat to the restaurant in the first floor ( called "Le Chick Shack")

While we chose to view the historical diorama show on account of the rain, we would recommend it highly. It provides an excellent context for the spirit of the city and Quebec in general. Do note the panels along the staircase which provide the history of the city in both English and French and can be accessed without paying for the show. Staff were pleasant and provided bilingual service with ease.

The show was very cool. With the lights that corresponded with the video and the special effects with the lights. The thought behind it is fantastic and the execution is even better. I love how they made the explosions and fire effects with the lights. Also, the quiz at the end using buttons on the chairs was very engaging. My critique would be that the chairs were slightly uncomfortable and the video was a little boring after a while since it was information we already learned on the trip.

To know the history of Quebec city this is the place. It's a live model representation in two languages to demonstrates the battle of the city in the 1600's with the sail ships of the time trying to attack the fortress. Highly recommend this place. Takes about 40 minutes.

Hands-down one of if not my favorite place in Quebec. It is not a conventional museum, rather a presentation using an incredible massive diorama of Quebec as it looked in the 18th century. The thirty minute show covers the military history of Quebec and New France as a whole, focusing primarily on the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in 1759, and the failed American siege of Quebec in 1775. The presentation is incredibly informative, and it is a must if you are at all interested in the history of Quebec. The history of Quebec as a military stronghold is seen everywhere in the city, from the fortifications to the canons to the Citadel itself, and this show provides a great basis to learn more about Quebec. If you visit one museum in Quebec, make it this one. It will be the best thirty minutes in Quebec.Shows are in English are presented on the hour, while shows in French are presented on the half-hour. Make sure you know when you're going because it is not just a drop in anytime setup.

Great little museum!! This is the perfect place to start your trip to Quebec. It is a simple diorama of the city and surrounding area, in a sit down theater. They narrate the history of the city with clever lighting and special effects. Truly Unique exhibit well worth admission price. It is a great way to get a feel for the city landscape and historical context. Very kid friendly. The museum is upstairs, there is an unrelated coffee shop downstairs which share a common entrance. Often the line out the door is for seating to the restaurant, not the museum. So don't forget to Ask
