Jonathan of Gateway Fencing and Renovations was great to deal with from start to finish. He was very patient with me, and added suggestions that I had not thought about. They gave me an estimated date of start and finish, and was spot on. They clean as they go. I would get home from work and they would be gone, and you would never know they were there. I had a pressure treat wooden fence installed at my place by Gateway Custom Contracting. I am a very fussy person and I was very satisfied with the install. The grass and everything around where they worked was left in the same condition as it was before the work started. I got a lot of compliments from my neighbours!!

The entire project from introduction to completion was OUTSTANDING! Jonathan provided a very detailed scope of work which was professional and perfect. The crew was extremely well organized, had all the right equipment, were courteous and did excellent work. The project was started and completed in the time frame. When I moved to Sudbury in 2020 the house I purchased was in need of a fence replacement. As per the teachings of my father I contacted three companies for quotes. One company didn't bother to conduct a site evaluation but based on the total perimeter gave me an e-mailed quote. The head of the second company came to have a look, suggested I keep the fence posts, which were very old and showing signs of decay. I wasn't sure if he was trying to save me money or save himself time and labour. In the case of Gateway, John came at the agreed time, carefully assessed to job, discussed design options and addressed concerns I had about the fence being level and security for my pup. Workers came as scheduled and were committed to quality. I noticed things like each time pressure treated wood was cut the exposed area was immediately treated with 'end cut' and each of the 19 posts had a metal cap. Actions designed to extend the life of my fence. The finished product is very well constructed and has lots of curb appeal. I can confidently recommend this company to family, friends, and you should you be seeking quality construction at a reasonable price.
