Small to Tall Pediatric Dentistry

Dr.Michelle Thal and whole team are so amazing!She's always kind and a good technique to calm my 2 year old boy. Staff are so friendly and joyful!Highly recommended this dental clinic!

I love Dr Michelle and the staff at Small to Tall! I felt at ease and taken care of from the moment we walked in for our appointment, Dr Michelle has such a calming presence on the kids for what would typically otherwise be a very anxious experience, and they actually look forward to their appointments which I would have never expected. Of course it doesn’t hurt that the play area at reception is amazing :). My kids’ teeth are as healthy as can be and I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Michelle to anyone looking for a great pediatric dentist!

If I could give zero I would. Dr Michelle watched my younger girls front teeth decay and did nothing about it. When I went and saw a different dentist he helped save what he could of her teeth but had we started earlier, the result would have been more stable. She also wanted to put my son under general anesthesia for fillings and when I told her I wasn’t comfortable with that and try with a local anesthesia she told me to find another dentist. Very rude. But In the end, I found a wonderful more capable dentist. Avoid this place, thank me later.

Dr Thal is actually a dental angel. I can’t say how thankful I am for her and her staff.With a different dentist... We had a terrible awful dental experience when my daughter was a toddler and then I learned about Dr Thal and she turned our daughters whole dental experience around 180-degrees. We’ve been seeing dr Thal for 7 years now.She is everything. Smart. Sweet. Skilled. Reasonable. Respectful of the kids. Very educated. Calm. Explains things to parents. Her staff are amazing and everyone is targeted to kids. Her new clinic is amazing and fun and happy! If you have kids with teeth, you’d be nuts to not come to Small to Tall.

We had quite a bad experience with this dental office. Allow me to explain. We were out of town for the long weekend, however the dental office tried calling us and since we did not respond on time"

Dr. Michelle and her staff were wonderful to our 2-year old daughter on her first trip to the dentist! Not a single tear or fussing thanks to the caring, respectful and engaging people there. Based on this experience, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Small to Tall.

Probably the best kids dentist ever! Dr Michelle and her staff are amazing! They are all so great with kids and are very professional. As soon as you open the door to the office everyone feels comfortable, coming in parents and children!

I recently changed dentists to Small to Tall because of the convenient location close to my home. My boys (ages 6 and 9) each had cleaning and check up appointments over the last 2 days. I can not say enough good stuff about this business! The decor is lovely with a very warm and calming colour palette. The front-line staff are super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rachel was the hygienist who cleaned both boys teeth and she was patient, kind and explained everything she was doing before she did it. She told the boys how great they were doing the whole time and used positive reinforcement from beginning to end. Dr. Michelle was also very gentle and kind and explained everything to me that she recommended for treatment. There was no pressure to do preventative work, but the options were explained thoroughly. One of my boys will need 2 fillings and Dr. Michelle explained the process to me and what options were available to make his first filling experience the best it can be. She truly understood the importance of these first dental experiences being positive. I only wish Small to Tall was around when I was a kid! Try them out, you won't be disappointed!

Dr. Michelle and her whole team make going to the dentist an absolute joy! We love the unique way she Calms and distracts our daughter to get the work done. Our daughter always leaves with a smile and she especially loves the play structure and other kid friendly details that make the dentist the best place to visit.We noticed Dr. Michelle when she was working on call at the Children’s Hospital, we weren’t her patient but she came over and put our fears at ease in an uncomfortable situation. It really made the whole experience better. Thank you!

After Dr Thal left her previous practice, I Googled about once a month trying to hunt her down. I was THRILLED to find she had opened Small to Tall. We have seen her since day one with our now 3.5 year old, and every experience has been gentle, kind, and SO respectful. I love that the team speaks directly to my child and tell her what they’re doing, making it fun and relaxed. In addition to her incredible bedside manner with children, Dr Thal is a brilliant dentist (she attended Harvard) and her ability to assess situations quickly and accurately is unparalleled. We have recommended her to at least a dozen friends and everyone who has gone has also been thrilled with the respectful, honest, and kind care, from the front office experience through the exam and beyond.
