Mac Bike

Maximilian service was excellent! We rented 2 bikes and they were ready when we arrived. One of them didnt work, we got another one right away and could start immediately after.Maximilian Works from His house, so dont look for a company sign, the adress on Google is the right one.His house is 6km away from the Sheawater Flying trail, which i would recommend you do. At the end, the Salt Marsh trail starts and the view is breathtaking, you have to Do it too!Know that a rent is a full day, but you probably wont have enough battery to use the bike all day, more like half a day.If i ever come back to Halifax and need a bike, i will definitely Do business with Maximilian again! He and His wife were so helpful and sweet, i might just swing by and Say hi just for the sake of it

Ceci and Max are super friendly and helpful in giving us tips on where to go! Their e-bikes are new, fun, and easy to use. Came with helmets and bike locks for our convenience. Thanks again for this experience!

Rented a couple of Mac Bikes bikes today. Very accommodating as far as pickup and drop off times. Had a great time on area trails and put on over 40kms. Great bikes!

Very helpful and caring, a great bunch of people! They let me test ride the bike, made sure I had everything I needed and that the bike was mechanically fit. If you're looking for a place to support local and buy an ebike I would recommend Mac Bikes 100%

Super affordable ebike! We rented two bikes for all day and it was not very expensive (around 60$ per person). The owners are very nice. The bike has a long battery so you can easily travel across Nova Scotia (I recommend the trail toward Laurencetown).

I borrowed a bike for one day to drive from Dartmouth to Peggy‘s Cove. I really enjoyed it and it was awesome to drive. It was about 100km. I got a charging cable as well, so I could charge it in half the way. The motor is very powerful and the fat tire provide a really good stability, although there was some Snow and ice on the Road. I would recommend it to try out. The Service is awesome and very professional. Thanks for the experience.

The Mac-sirius model was a comfortable ride and provided the power I needed to effortlessly go up steep hills. The wide tires are great both on and off road. With suspension on both wheels it was great when on rough trails. I recommend this bike.As a tourist, renting from Macbike allowed me to see parts of Dartmouth that would not be possible in a car. If you are ever in Halifax/Dartmouth, look up Macbike and rent a great Ebike.

Very friendly owners! I had rented an ebike from another company that had broken down near their shop. They helped us out by lending us a great ebike and we had a nice trip to the Saltmarsh trail. Would highly recommend.

I rented the mac leo e bike for a few rides, the motor is insanely powerful, you can get to 32km/h in 3 seconds, also the fat tire provide you a really great stability for a comfortable ride in any road conditions. The service provided here is really good and professional.

I have been driving around a Mac Leo for about month now as a commuter bike around Dartmouth and into Halifax occasionally. It's definitely been a game changer, fun, zippy, and this model can be collapsed so I can ship it back to BC easily (to ride it might be a little long). Battery power has been enough to get me from near Cole Harbor to the QEII and back (major hills the full way) with 1 battery bar left.In terms of Maxi and Ceci were very friendly, and let me try a couple around their neighborhood, and make the correct recommendation for what bike might serve my purposes best. Maxi has also offered to do check-ups on the bike, for minor adjustments and tightening ups, which I have been grateful for. Their shup is not marked/signed clearly, so just make sure you give them a text from the number on the their website to let them know if/when you are swinging by to check things out, and they will help you find them.Happy green trails!
