Maison Zacharie

Endroit magnifique, un ancien monastère. Un mélange de gîte, hôtel et auberge de jeunesse, super bien décoré d’objets vintages ou de style vintage. Un vrai retour dans le temps. Les proprios sont super accueillants et nous parlent de leur beau gîte avec plaisir. Notre seule regret!? Ne pas l’avoir découvert lors de nos deux premiers voyages à vélo autour du Lac, mais nous nous promettons bien d’y retourner pour notre 4e voyage dans quelques années. Y aller, c’est vraiment un beau cadeau que vous vous ferez ☺️

Le personnel de l’auberge est formidable. Au petits soins avec la clientèle. Les espaces communs sont beau.

Lovely innkeepers, simple yet chic accommodations in an old monastery, clean and pleasant. Perfect for bike path access. Nice grounds and common areas. Would stay again!

Wonderful, amazing, comfortable, friendly, beautifully rustic.If you are in the area, do not go anywhere else. Mike and Veronique are outstanding and Jean Marie and Nancy are wonderful also.SUPER dog freindly, my dog has never had a better experience .Great spot , better value than 90% of hotels.We are planning yearly visits to our new friends.

The Host Nancy was amazingly. She really made us feel welcome and at ease. Wonderful breakfast!

Our hosts Veronica and Mike as well as Veronica's parents , were so welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable stay . The building itself and the grounds of the Maison Zacharie were incredible and you could not possibly find fault with this location . They pointed us in the direction of a fine food grocery and opened their kitchen to us so that we could prepare a great group dinner ( 10 cycling friends) . We also enjoyed sitting in their covered pavilion in a lovely backyard . Veronica was so enthusiastic about our stay and even opened her doors to introduce to some very special handmade soaps that we were able to purchase as mementos . Before getting back on the road they provided a perfect breakfast to start our day of cycling . The Maison is the perfect place to host big groups or families . Congrats to Veronica and Mike (and family) for their vision and hard work to make it a successful reality .. Highly recommend and we will be back

A Monastery furbished lovely hotel, the first sight of this place was a super welcoming sheepdog greeting you, with its beautiful owner waiting to welcome you. This is much more than a hotel, it's more like a resort for family and friends. I will be coming back next time visiting lac saint jean for sure!

Until renovation and transformation is done, this is more of an hostel than an inn or hotel. Room was cute, but not even a sink in it. Some rooms currently have washrooms though. Service was good: friendly staff and cute animals plus good food. I probably won't go back until it's more of an hotel, but people who like hostels will like this place very much.
