I left Corner Brook with half a tank in my motorcycle, figuring I might make it to Port aux Basques, or there would be gas on the way. Big mistake! Halfway it became clear that I wouldn't make it and there were no stations on the highway for 111 miles. Google guided me 5 miles off the highway to a station that didn't exist, and then some helpful locals pointed me to Station Grocery. I filled up, got a snack, and had some friendly conversation. My anxiety was at 80% when I arrived, and 0% when I left. That's service!
