Start Smart Childcare Centre

SSCC has been our daughter's care provider for 3 years. They are attentive, do so many fun things with the kids, have a great outdoor space and the teachers are absolutely amazing. Every teacher knows each child, even if they are in a different classroom. The directors are so amazing and involved in the day to day care the centre provides.

I have been so pleasantly surprised with the care and time set aside not only to ensure my son feels safe and happy, but myself as well. I was very nervous about putting my son in daycare for so many hours per day, but they talked me through it every step of the way. The communication is impeccable and whenever I am needing an update they are prompt and thorough. When my son or any of the other children are struggling they ensure to take extra special care of them.

Unqualified staff, directors that refuse to listen to parent concerns , young staff on their phones constantly, catty unprofessional care givers that say one thing to you but, tell very different stories to co-workers. And apparently, no one could tell me what happened to my daughter after I was called to come get her because she split her chin open & needed to be rushed to emergency for stitches! Four stitches in a 3.5yr chin is a big gash...and no saw what happened. This happened to another little girl there as well! And they didn’t file the report with licensing either. And many other not so good things I could mention. I do not recommend start smart at all!!!
