I've been to many different practitioners. Kathleen, at Aktiv Ottawa, is hands down by far the best and most helpful I've ever seen. She has tremendous knowledge of the body, how to treat it, and what to do to fix any ailments. She also has an incredibly accurate intuitive sense of what to do to alleviate pain and discomfort. She's been able to hone in on issues that no other practitioner has picked-up on -- and easily fix them. Since seeing Kathleen, I've never felt better. If you're experiencing any sort of pain or discomfort, I highly recommend you make an appointment with Kathleen!

Kathleen Stevens is so un pretentious that one might miss how effective, gifted, helpful and wise her treatments are. I literally bounce off her table like a puppy full of mischief. Such a healing wonderful treatment that aligns my body and soul is something to give much thanks for, thank you Kathleen for gently leading my body back to balance and health.

Straight to the point - Kathleen is gifted. What her treatment does for me in half hour and an hour - a) works better than any other practitioner without any harsh movements or pulling or twisting and b) it holds good for a month or more. What this means is that my tight joints and back and neck etc don't require me to get Chiro or RMT or Physio treatments any more AND since her treatments give me immense flexibility for longer periods (with other practitioners I would snap back tight within 48 hours despite heavy stretching), I can push myself more at the gym with integrated weights and cardio sessions.All in all - I hope I never have to live without Kathleen's sessions. She is golden standard of Practitioner treatments for me (and I'm 40+ with great benefits; I've been around the block). No exaggeration.

I highly recommend an appointment with Kathleen. She is so knowledgeable, friendly and empathic. Her treatments are amazing. I always leave her office feeling so much better.

Kathleen was AMAZING. I finally feel as if the mystery plaguing me for the last few years from time to time, has been solved. After my first appointment, I felt the most relaxed I have in a very long time and my whole body felt level and equal, without any favoritism to one side or the other when walking.
