I was in the Stonebridge location Saturday Nov 7. This was one of the worst massages I have ever experienced. I booked a hot stone and actually told her to quit using them on me as she practically burned me with the first stones. The table was super uncomfortable and hard, the therapist wore a hoodie because she was cold as was the room…as was this client. The technique of the therapist was not relaxing or pleasant at all. I have had massages for 25 years all over Canada and other countries and this was right up there with the feeling I was being punked it was so bad. Reception was pleasant - you get the star.

I had a facial with Sanjana and I am really impressed of her work. It is really effective and my skin is smooth and soft. They had good service. This is a great place to relax and treat yourself. So, go visit it.

I could not make an appointment and called days prior to cancel. Left a message on their machine assuming all was taken care of. A confirmation of appointment call was made to me in which I stated I cancelled and left a message. In reply she stated there was no message left by me. I was charged on my credit card the full amount of the service which I cancelled. Be very careful when cancelling and leaving a message, as this is very poor on their behalf!! Their word against MINE.

My boyfriend and I booked to have facials and massages done this past weekend. We arrived 15 minutes early and got a phone call saying that the ladies that were to do our facials were running late. We waited for 5-10 minutes after our appointment time when they finally showed up. When we got inside we were rushed to do paper work and they couldn’t even provide us with 2 pens so we had to share a pen which took longer. Finally, the one lady just said to sign and date without finishing our forms. They rushed through our facials which didn’t make the experience enjoyable. Then the RMT’s showed up for our massages and the one RMT didn’t even concentrate on the areas that my boyfriend suffers from which is his back, neck, and shoulders. He left feeling more stiff than he was before we came for our appointment. Then when we went to direct bill all of the sudden the “system was down” and then she “forgot her password” to log in, so we ended up having to pay up front and submit later. Then the receipt she gave us wasn’t even sufficient enough to take to our insurance, so I had to call back and get proper receipts. The whole experience was unorganized, unprofessional, and unsatisfying. We will not be booking there again.

If you need an RMT please ask for Sanjana, she is basically the best registered massage therepist someone can ask for.She went behind all my expectations and I left the spa feeling like a new person.Thank you Sanjana and Damara Day spa

I had a massage on Sunday, October 11. A day before I made a phone call to book an appointment and asked if they can direct billing to my insurance as I would have a massage with an RMT. The lady who booked an appointment for me said they can do direct billing and she even asked what insurance I have. Again she ensured me it can. She asked my CC detail to book the appointment which I gave. I came at 11 which was my appointment. I didn't realize I have to fill up some forms.That was about 5-10 minutes.It was only Roger, the RMT there and he was good. But turned out, my massage was not exactly 1 hour as I wanted to because the minutes I should have the massage was used to fill up the forms. At the time when I was about paying the portion that I need to pay, Roger said I can't do direct billing there. He said it can't be done from the one in Stonebridge. I was a little bit upset because the reason I go there so that i don't have to deal with paperwork afterward with the insurance and it seems there's no consistent communication between staffs.

Amazing relaxation massage followed by a facial and pedicure. What a great way to spend an afternoon! Katherine is fantastic!!! Highly recommend Katherine.

I do not recommend this place. The ppl I spoke to had no concern for anyone but the fact that they needed to receive payment. I booked an appointment on Friday morning for Saturday at 9am. Friday evening I was in a car accident, was in quite a bit of pain. While at the ER I mentioned to the doctor I was in the city to get a massage, he advised against due to my pain. During this time I forgot about it until about 7am Saturday. I went on the website and clicked the letter link and explained what happened. A lady phoned me around 915am and was upset I didn't attend the appt. I explained what happened and she was upset stating she will be charging my credit card. I hung up the phone due to not having the energy to talk. Sunday I call them because I noticed a charge pending on my credit card, I explained the situation and the male that answered stated that due to their 24 hour cancelation policy they will be charging my credit card. Due to this experience I do not recommend this place.

Spent a few hours at the spa today with Barinder. Had a mani/pedi and facial. Was a wonderful experience. Extremely thorough. Very thoughtful and caring. I almost fell asleep during the facial. So relaxing. Would highly recommend this spa and look forward to returning.
