I came here after one of the worst days I’ve ever experienced. A new rental home we were moving into had toxic mold in the basement that rental cleaners found. Long story short, we had to unload a moving truck full of boxes back into our previous rental, and now are rushing to find a new home. At the end of the day, I decided to put some money from our deposit into my account. I was stressed, crying, flustered, & my blood sugar was low - so I put in my debit card pin incorrectly (backwards) twice while attempting to put money in with the teller. He was rude, mean & difficult. instead of being sympathetic to our situation, he treated me with suspicion, which I did not appreciate. Maybe learn some compassion & kindness? You never know what kind of trauma someone is going through. You’d think he’d offer some advice, and I had more questions which I didn’t even bother asking because the judgment was seething from his pores. It’s not like I was trying to take money, I was trying to deposit cash- which made his suspicions invalid. The next day, I went to use my debit card- and he blocked me from using it. He failed to mention that after the failed attempts, my pin would have to be changed. This happened on a weekend, so I had to wait until Monday to properly do so at a branch. Luckily I had my credit cards. You think he would have said something, but no. The next teller I dealt with, wasn’t pleasant either when I went change my pin- I will never return to this location. By far, the most snotty and stuck up employees I’ve ever dealt with.

I had no problem after switching from BMO BANK OF MONTREAL been a loyal customer with them 22 years they treat people with no respect it why I went to RBC ROYAL BANK I have had no problems since .

Recently had to sit down to deal with some account paper work at this location with my youngest child present, and was very pleased with the experience. Supreet conducted our business is an orderly and professional manner, and was also very warm and kind to my little one.

Absolute joke of a bank. Jacob there, hid my account, but still sent my ex wife the statements of my new one. Now that account is somehow closed after I brought that to their attention. Even though, the 2 people who owned that account didn't say yes close it. No answers, very confusing. Go somewhere else and save a headache. Rbc is a joke

Even though this location is the closest to me but due to lack of service from the lady who is the first customer service at the front I am forced to seek service from the farther location. I don't have the habit of complaining but I didn't have a good experience.

The customer service was nice, but when I went to solve a problem, I was often met with more problems than solutions. Either there needs to be much better communication, or the staff need to be more informed so that problems can be fixed right away rather than creating more problems.Someone had been withdrawing money from my account monthly, and I wanted to stop the transactions and get my money back. So I went to the bank to fill out the proper forms. I was told that these forms would give me a refund and stop all future transactions. A month later, the transactions did not stop. I called and was told that the form did not go through - there was a part that was not filled out by the bank, so I was told that I did not need to go back into the bank and that they would fix it.I then received an email from one of the branch’s advisors saying that I did have to go back and that I had to redo the form within 3 days. So I went back, but all they did was reprint the old form I filled out and put a check mark in a box - I did nothing, so why did I need to go back? To double check, I asked if the forms would stop future transactions. I was then told that the forms need to be filled monthly to stop all future transactions. Why didn’t anyone tell me that before? They advised me to close my current account and open a new one as a solution, so I did that. I called the helpline to make sure it went through, but they said I might not get the refund since I closed my account from before. Why did this branch tell me to close my account then, and why did they not think of this problem before?That second time I went into the bank I also requested that this branch’s manager call me to ensure the forms go through and inform me of problems. They assured me they would call on the next business day. It has been 5 business days, and they never called.

I tried phoning several times directly to the branch but it goes to a call center where I cannot get specific answers to my questions. I deposited an ICBC cheque for vehicle replacement and to pay out an RBC car loan. The deposit was larger than the amount owing on the loan. They immediately paid off the loan but did not deposit the remaining money in my account and claimed the cheque requires 5 business days to go through. Amazingly it went through right away for their money to be taken. It is 6 business days passed the deposit and I still don't have the money in my account. Still cannot speak over the phone to anybody at the bank. Tried calling the Vedder Branch instead with same results, I do not recommend the RBC bank.

Went to the bank today to buy a draft - no other way to get it. I waited in a long line of about 12 people with two tellers operating a glacial speed. I worked in banking for 27 years and would have been ashamed of service like I received today at RBC.

I walked to the bank to open a savings account and the teller I got simply told me it was faster to do it online. Why would I walk to the bank to go do something online when I’m talking to you? What a joke. Sorry you didn’t wanna do your job. I’m changing my banks litterally just because of this.
