I drove all the way from the west end to buy a wig, at noon on a Thursday and you had it completely closed. The amount of gas wasted, I'm never shopping here again. If you have a problem with shoplifters, fix your system, but don't penalize paying customers. It was not the employees fault, that you only staffed one person, that was a management fail.Edit: I actually went across the street, and I'm surprised at how much better the experience was. Helpful staff, large selection and the bonus of having wigs accessible to customers ALL THE TIME. I think I will take my business there from now on, since they appreciate it.

Awful awful store manager! I went in today and purchased a ponytail wrap. When I went home and opened the package the color was incorrect. I called the store explaining the situation and a store employee let me know I can return it and get a full refund. So I went back the same day and the store manager refused to refund me. I explained I live far and I was told I can. He was rude and ignored what I had to say. I left my purchase on the table and told him to throw it in the garbage and left the store. I’m sure he’s going to resell it even though “it’s not in good condition” whatever that means. Stay away from this place!

I was completely lost and a lovely young lady helped me get everything I needed and was extremely knowledgeable. Awesome star, awesome service, awesome store! I'll definitely be back!

Customer service with all the staff at this store is always poor, and it only gets worse after every visit. I personally had a few bad experiences (employees not helping, making you feel like a burden when asking them to unlock items for you, or for the simplest of help) despite this I still revisit because I manage to purchase what I need, while trying to minimize asking for too much. As a customer I shouldn’t have to feel l this way. The most noteworthy experience of mine took place yesterday. Google indicated the store closes at 7:00pm so I made a visit at 6:30pm and wanted to purchase a pony tail. The manager of the store rudely advised me that all options of ponytails and wigs are locked away downstairs 30 mins prior to the stores closing. I showed him a picture of the ponytail I wanted and asked him if he can bring me one similar. He was not open to this suggestion and brushed me off, he added if I knew the exact product I needed he would bring it for me, but said I don’t and he cannot bring me options of pony’s. If the store hours indicate it closes at 7:00 as a paying customer who is travelling to the store, I think it’s only fair that the products be available, or at least the customer service is decent. Wouldn’t recommend this store. Following this, I went to mama cee across the street, they greeted me, helped me find the exact pony I needed, and overall provided top tier customer service. Moving forward I will only be showing there and will not be burdening this store with my business.

I have been going to this location since I moved to Ottawa 5 years ago, only because they have a wide variety of items with decent prices hence the 2 stars. Initially, the customer service was ok-ish, not the greatestbut they tried. Its however been getting worse. I don't get a welcoming feeling when I walk in. The girls working there look miserable, many look like they don't want to help you. It's not a place I enjoy going to. I only go because I have no other choices, but going forward I will no longer give them my money or business. I will find other alternatives or shop online. Somewhere I feel more welcome.

This is the second time I got very bad customer service in this store by the same person but I always let it go , but today I had the worst costumer experience ever. Imagine am parked in my car to wait for the store to open. They open, the worker was so un welcoming. I go inside to ask if I can check the hair downstairs and he told me that he can’t because he is the only one in the store. I explained that I have to go to work and it’s the only time I have and he refused. (Apparently he is the manager) I called in few minutes to ask for the manager contact and he told me that he is the manager.

Huge selection of all things hair & skin care, with reasonable pricing

Due to the lack of beauty supply stores in the west end I bussed 2 hours to go here for clip in extensions. The first store across the street didnt have what I was looking for, but I stumbled across Clore. OMG made my day. The lovely girl with a red butterfly tattoo behind her ear helped me find exactly what I was looking for. She matched my colour and was very knowledgeable and friendly! She took her time with me and gave me multiple options for colour. I have honestly never found hair extensions that matched my hair from the get go, but this amazing girl was so great with colour the first one matched. The prices are some of the best I have seen in ottawa and have such a great selection! The extensions are soft, shiny, great clips, and do not have the stray black and red hair your see in a lot of clip ins. Thank you so much for making my trip worth it! I have found my extension supply store!

I always like coming to Clore! Really amazing service! One of the ladies not only helped save me money by making good suggestions, she also helped customize my ponytail (cut it to the perfect length for me).
