Holli, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.Willow is a reserved cat who doesn't like change and is slow to warm to people. Hollis' single room hotel experience was amazing, from the TV playing fish videos, air conditioning and the viewing windows, Willow had 5* treatment.I would definitely recommend Holli and The Scratching Post, and will definitely use them again.Thank you Holli and team for taking care of my feisty kitty.

Holli is the sweetest - I'm a first time (and recent) cat owner and wanted to board at a place where I felt like our new rescue would feel as secure as she could. Got a quick tour when I first dropped off my cat, met a few current residents, and was very happy with Holli's communicationI trust that my cats needs are being taken care of and that she is in a safe environment while adjusting being away from home! I will definitely be booking again soon~

Holli cared for our 13-year-old diabetic cat, Piper, while we were out of the country for two weeks. He requires a controlled diet and insulin injections twice a day, and besides that he's an older dude and a bit anxious. I was so relieved to find The Scratching Post, where Holli had just the right touch in communicating with Piper. She was able to put him at ease, attend to his medical needs, and she gave him special attention while we were away. He had a private room with a bed, toys, cat videos on the TV, and a window to sit at, and Holli sent me updates and video of him during his stay. When we picked him up he seemed very relaxed and at-home. Although he was happy to see us, I think he would also have been happy to stay with Holli! I can enthusiastically recommend the The Scratching Post to anyone needing to board a cat with special needs.

My two cats boarded with The Scratching Post Hotel for the entire month of July, and I am extremely happy with how everything went. I believe they genuinely care about my cats, and I really loved seeing the photos of them while I was away. They figured out their personalities very quickly! Also, as it was quite hot while we were gone, the fact that they purchased air conditioning units to keep the cats cool, made me confident that they go out of their way to make the cats happy and safe. I will definitely be booking with them in the near future!

Holli and her staff clearly love cats and take good care of them. There were a couple winding their way around her legs almost as soon as we arrived! My cat is an older scaredy cat who never wanted to come out and play. Holli spent a good while making friends with her and making sure she was as content as possible, even managing to give her her daily meds.Some of Holli’s staff have special needs and Holli is really to be commended for employing them, even though -I’m sure - it put more work on her organizationally.This cattery is really needed on the N. Shore

My two scaredy cats had a wonderful time (a 2 month renovation stay) at the scratching post. I even got to visit them with my toddler and he had the BEST time petting and playing with all the sweet kitties. Holli knows her stuff, is so sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend if you need a home away from home for your kitties!

I boarded my 3 cats around mid February to early March this year and we all loved the experience. My cats stayed in the private rooms and were very well taken care of. Holli and her staff made sure they were always happy. I was nervous at first since it was their first time boarding and being away from home, but I came home to 3 cats that became more social and less afraid of strangers! I will definitely be booking them again with this hotel in the near future!

Our 2 cats spent one week at The Scratching Post back in September and they had a great time! I really appreciated text message updates as my boys were settling in, and I loved the daily photo/video albums on Facebook! Holli, Karina and Holly truly care about all of their guests, and spoil them with lots of attention, cuddles and playtime. My shy cat is way more confident at home since his visit, which has been nice to see. We will be back for sure!

Holli and team took great care of our Kitty. She is an older diabetic cat that does not play well with other cats so she was given the private room. Holli, Holly and Amanda were very attentive and professional and handled her with care and attention, making sure that she was given lots of love and play time. We especially enjoyed the daily postings of photos and videos.We strongly recommend the Scratching Post Hotel and would have no hesitation placing Kitty in their care again.
