Our meeting to sign the paperwork was arranged for a Friday morning - she only sent us the paperwork to review late Thursday night - She sent me the paperwork after I emailed her at the direction of my real estate agent who was surprised we hadn't received it yet. My lawyer had to deal with Jennifer Li and her office for closing of a condo that I purchased. Their procedures are immensely inflexible and inconvenient. They did not allow e-signatures for documents and insisted on wet signatures. They refused to leave a lockbox with the keys for the condo on the day of closing and insisted that the keys be couriered to my lawyer's office in Guelph. I was forced to waste my time to pick up the keys from their office. This lawyer seem very old-school and rigid. Who does this? It's 2022! Very poor experience!
