Wow, I haven't expected to find this place in the middle of nowhere in the Laurentides. It's a very relaxing place you can visit at your heart content. As I came during Fall, the view on the mountains and the colors on the trees make the view very nice. They also serve some great vegetarian dinner for free. Access to the area is also free, but they accept donations and I also encourage people to donate! :)

It's an amazing peaceful place with so many statues & monuments of Lord Buddha & his eventful life. I love the hospitality of them. I will definitely go back to this place next year. There are certain areas on the way where your internet connection Won't work but Don't be afraid.

An amazingly beautiful Buddhist monastery nestled deep in the Laurentians. It is a scenic park like property spread out over several acres, that visitors can explore over a few hours at a leisurely pace. The site is open to the public on weekends during the warmer months of the year. Admission is free, but visitors are encouraged to make a donation towards the upkeep of the property.Please keep in mind that this is a religious place and proper respect should be shown while visiting. There are a few rules that visitors should be aware of in regards to wearing appropriate attire and activities that are not permitted on the property. Please take the time to go over them on their website before making the drive out.

So peaceful and beautiful place. Definitely recommend this place every worker is a volunteer.

Very Silent place.. Had a really good time.. Very scenic.. a must visit place. Bring your food and spend a day here..

A little bit far from Montreal. Open only on weekends. Must observe the Monastery's rules and codes of conduct. Must respect the Buddhist priests. Good place for worshipping Buddha and relaxation.
