I have a Sony linear tracking turntable that wasn't tracking properly. It was repaired by another shop in Barrie, but unfortunately it came back to me with the same issue, so it had been sitting on a shelf in the basement for years. We happened to find Rob's website, and on a Sunday I was able to take the turntable to him for an estimate. In less than a week I had the turntable back, and once again we're able to enjoy our record collection with no playback issues whatsoever. Thanks again Rob! I've finally found an electronics repair shop I can trust and rely on.

Rob is very easy to conduct business with. I had a unique request for a surface mounted ic to be replaced. His work looks fantastic and had it back to me in record time. Would highly recommend and will be doing business with him in the future.

What an amazing, caring, meticulous man Rob is. His workmanship is way above anyone I have found in Barrie. I had a receiver and speakers repaired by him, and am beyond impressed. If you have older electronics that you cherish, and need of repair, trust Rob to treat them with TLC !! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND his services, and to top it off he is a really NICE GUY :)))

Brought my 1980's Hafler power amp to Robert. A very elusive problem that Robert was able to find and immediately fix. Also I was very pleased at how fair and reasonable the fee was to repair. He is a true gentlemen in our time. Thanks again Robert!

Rob is very dedicated person. Works with everything in details. Fully delivery what he promised. He got my Luxman D105-u serviced out with exceptional level of workmanship. I have the unit to a few places which are the dealers for hi end stereo brand and could not get it done right. He out perform them. Keep up the good work Rob.

Brought my 73 Sansui Seven in for servicing and cap replacement. She sounded really good prior (other than pots needing a cleaning) to servicing. Now she sounds even better. Awesome service and a very fair price. My go to person now.

Rob is a fantastic guy, great at what he does and very trustworthy with his work!! Had an issue with my laptop over the summer and he jumped right in to fix the problem as soon as he was available, very clam, very attentive, and very knowledgeable about all that he does with electronics. Honest worker, kind hearted, caring and skillful are the words best used to describe Rob especially when he’s at work. You will not be disappointed coming to born again electronics.God bless!!

Rob did a terrific job repairing and refurbishing my 46 year old Technics SL-1600 turntable. It now functions at 100%, works like it's brand new and sounds great. He does high quality work and is good at understanding what you want done.

What an absolute joy Rob was to work with. We Barrie audiophiles are very lucky to have someone of his calibre in our midst. I took my first generation Mission Cyrus Two and PSX (1985 vintage) to Rob for restoration. Though the PSX needed little work, he basically rebuilt the integrated amp (the Cyrus Two). Once he got working on it, his communication was great and told me exactly what was done, and what components he used. Thorough work all around. He seemed as excited with the outcome as I was. I would put my trust into Rob's work any time.
