Be very cautious of sending your children here! I attended a transition/trial period with my son. All days I attended they were over ratio for children to teachers, the outside area is unsafe, I watched multiple falls on the cement step and lack of attention. Two main occasions: 1. While waiting in the car park area I saw the teacher on her phone a majority of the time and when I came back my son had a blood nose and she did not know how. 2. While changing a diaper in another area with no view of the children, I had to stop a child from falling off the table while they were unattended.I terminated our care within the transition period due to unsatisfactory care, as stated in the parental agreement, however management still refused to return our deposit. The children seemed unhappy and under stimulated, with no activities or encouragement to learn. This facility is far below the level of other care facilities on the north shore.Response: unlike the management said, there were 5 children plus my son on one day and 6 children plus my son on another (all of which she said have been there a while and not in transition), where they should have only been a max 4.My son was happy because I was present for all but 20 minutes of the time that we spent there, with that I did not feel it was safe to leave him again. I mentioned other children were unhappy and bored.Communication with management is poor and the facility is extremely unorganised. There is a reason a facility would lose their license within the last year.

Maybe the parents don’t mind, but a little one maybe 9 months max watching baby shark on daycare workers phone with other kids gathered around. Maybe it’s just to make the babe happy, but most parents avoid screens at that age for brain development. Sometimes care givers need a time out for mental health - if my kid went here I’d just be curious how often they’re giving TV
