CIBC Branch with ATM

By far worst experience I have ever had a a cibc bank. Will be closing my accounts because of this branch. Staff are incredibly horrible.

I have always appreciated how they (the Port Place branch) have helped me to understand my banking needs. I've been a member for quite some time, and all their efforts to help me has NOT gone unnoticed. Thank you for the personal service you have shared with me.

Had a Blonde manager with really beautiful lips (besides the point i just forgot her name). She is beyond amazing, CIBC HAS CHANGED my life. I was life long customer with TD bank (twits and dummys bank) just switched in the spring tired of being treated like dirt, actually less than dirt. Back to blonde manager lady. Had a banking problem and I was screwed so hard needed a charge reversed it was 2pm in the afternoon, truth and rec day the next day. I begged her to reverse the unauthorized transaction said it might not be able to be processed until monday. Bam 2 hours later it was done. Best banking experience I've ever had thus bank should be 10 star rating thank you blonde lady from Troy i love you.

Worst experience, someone their closed my account without letting me know and then the manager came and said dont worry we will issue the card right away with same number, they lied. They deleted my phone number from my account and gave a card that i cant even use.

I needed to open an account and right from the start during the set appointment with an agent I was excited and knew I would have a great place to bank with. I walked out of the bank that day happier than I thought I would. Years later and I still think highly of this CIBC branch at Port Place Mall. I was so happy to learn they were open on Saturdays too as it so happened a week ago I needed to do business on a Saturday. I have had no issues with my banking online, with an ATM or teller. Great Banking service with CIBC.

Great staff the time of this review. Very helpful and understanding. Being patient with clients. Was trouble calling this branch on the phone but in person so far a nice experience.

Customer service is completely insufficient: There are often major lineups here...of 15+ people waiting to see tellers. They have cancelled my credit card without notice due to a fraudulent transaction. No email, no phone call...just a cancelled card. On another occasion, I requested some foreign currency: I requested large bills, and they delivered a stack of tiny ones. In this last week, I've left 3 messages on their general line for a call back to book an appointment with a financial adviser. They don't even bother to return phone calls. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE BRANCH, TERRIBLE BANK, I'm closing my CIBC accounts and moving to a different bank.

I try to do all banking online, however the bank is conveniently located and occasionally I need to use a teller. This branch is always understaffed and around noon, when most busy, there is only one teller. The greeter cannot do anything, and staff in offices, even while not apparently busy, ignore the patrons. Definitely the worst CIBC branch.
