Little Acorn Early Learning Centre

My little girl has been going to Little Acorn since she was 18 months. We love this place. The staff are passionate about their work, and love all the children dearly. My little one has learned so much since she started, and continues to grow in a loving, learning focused, and healthy environment. It really feels like home.

My daughter started at Little Acorn in 2015. The centre quickly became our second home. The staff have exceeded our expectations in every way. Our child was welcomed with love and nurtured like she was their own. My son started earlier this year and was instantly welcomed just as warmly and lovingly. I could not imagine sending my children anywhere else. My daughter started JK this year and has asked on a couple of occasions if she could go back to Little Acorn. It’s clear that she misses her care givers and friends. My son continues to do amazingly well at the centre and I’m so happy he has another 3 years to flourish under the care of their dedicated and caring ECE’s. If you are looking for a daycare centre that always puts the needs of the children first and provides endless learning opportunities, this is definitely the centre for your family.

I am I proud parent of a child who attends this centre and will be sending my second child in the new year! We are beyond happy with the level of care shown and given to our son. He has accomplished so many things since attending and made many new friends. The educators here truly care and are so loving. It’s the honest truth when I say my son has stolen a little piece of Miss Jen’s heart! She is the best and we thank her for all her hard work and dedication to the centre, our son and the other children. I would 100% recommend this centre to anyone looking to enroll there child. Thank you Acorn and all your wonderful staff!

Lovely and clean facility with a caring staff. There are always a large variety of arts and outdoor activities for the kids. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate my little guy’s needs. He absolutely loves it there. Especially Ms. Natasha.

Little Acorn is in a league of its own as a daycare. The staff clearly care for their pupils. The environment is clean and safe. We have been so impressed with their management, especially during COVID!

The staff here are truly amazing. Your child's first day can sometimes be harder on mom or dad. That was certainly my case. However the fact that my child never wanted to leave when I picked her up tells me everything I need to know. The teachers are always there to greet me with a smile and to tell me about my child's day! 10/10!!

I am shocked and appalled by the 1-Star rating! Those accusations simply are not true.My son attended LAELC’s Ogilvie location for three years and I have nothing but wonderful things to say. The facilities are clean, comforting and engaging and the staff are all like family. My son was part of three different “classrooms” during his time there and he still talks about his teachers and says how much he misses them to this day. Having to “graduate” from Little Acorn was very bitter sweet for all of us! Highly recommend!!!

There are so many amazing things I could say about this centre. There is not one word that is worthy enough to describe the level of love, care and compassion the ECE working there provide to our children. After having a terrible experience with a home daycare, Little Acorn gave the the relief and comfort in knowing thayt my boys are well taken care of. The daily photo updates of them participating in activities make the hardest of the days that much easier. Such an amazing pick me up to see the smiles on their faces. The staff there are so gentle and down to earth, my boys love everyone there. Although the cry a little at drop off there is always someone willing to scoop them up and comfort them as i leave. My boys are stage one clingers to me so watching them get that extra love and attention when they are distraught just warms my heart. I would recommend this place 1000 times over to anyone who asks

Absolutely loved this place. My son was there for over 2 years. I was sad to see him move on to JK and leave this wonderful place. The staff is top notch and being a first time parent I felt completely comfortable leaving my son in the hands of the educators. My son learned so much and met some great friends. I recommend this place to anyone. The love the educators have for the children is very noticeable when your child won't leave at night. The food is delicious and healthy.

My daughter attended from 2019 through to summer 2021. To this day, she talks about her daycare and how much she misses it. That says a lot. A daycare where she felt safe, happy and comfortable to be herself. The teachers are amazing at allowing the children to be their unique selves and thrive with friends and learning. Love this daycare and the staff. Can't wait to go back and visit.
