Such a cute store! My friend and I were just looking around and I ended up buying a couple little things, they have real gold and silver rings for an incredible price, everything in the store has a story and is sustainability sourced. The staff member who helped me choose the ring was also lovely, sadly I didn’t get her name. Will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of attending their 1 year event last night at their new location at 1804 Government St and the new store is beautiful! So many great curated products and great art. It's a no brainer for anyone looking for something unique and beautiful for friend or loved one and it feels great supporting a locally owned business.

Hidden gem of Victoria! I wanted to buy some local, not mass-market gifts and I achieved my goal there! Couldn’t find anything similar in Victoria’s downtown. They have a bunch of skin-care products, posters, books and even some jewelry.

I've come to Public Mercantile twice and it's truly a lovely shop. I brought my friend here today and we had a really great experience once again with the staff member there (I believe she is one of the owners). They're very knowledgable and have a gorgeous curation of sustainable products. The pieces you get here are meant to last, not just to look good.My friend bought a beautiful gold ring and at my last visit I bought some of their Maude Shine, both products were well worth it.As someone who works on Fort St. I can say we are so happy to have them here and I can't wait to keep coming back.

This store is the perfect boutique for a special gift or a treat for yourself. I love getting my candles, undies, jeans, glasses and jewelry from Public. I also love that I get help to find these items. The owners travel and search for unique products that are thoughtful and have great stories. If you want to buy ethic products that are good value and beautiful, this is the place.
