Mighty Comics

A wonderful local comic store. James has owned the store since 2014. My daughter bought two funkopops. This is a great local business. James can help your find any current or past comics. They also have kids graphic novels for around $10.mostly books you can’t find in the library's. A local gem. It’s been serving the community for 25 years.

I called them recently to ask if they buy old comics because I have a bunch. The guy seemed extremely upset by me asking and demanded to know what specifically I wanted to sell. I told him I have a bunch of mint condition comics from the 60's and 70's and before I could ask if they grade them in store or if its like a barter thing he promptly cut me off saying we don't discuss pricing over the phone" and to come in store if I have any more questions and then hung up on me. Why would I ever come into a store which treated me so poorly over the phone? Its great that they know a lot about comics but the complete lack of customer service/people skills really put a bad taste in my mouth. Looks like I'll be heading to Galaxy tomorrow

I really like this place, I stop by from time to time for magic cards.They have a great selection of comics, and always have good stock on free comic days. They also have some good board games kicking around.

The owner may seem a little gruff/intimidating at first, but once you get talking with him you'll find he's really a great guy with a ton of comics knowledge. I've ordered in a bunch of books that were either very expensive or hard to find elsewhere, and not only did he get them all in, but also only charged me the u.s. srp, which if you don't know, is a significant discount. Purchases almost always end up being the same or cheaper than amazon or chapters prices, and you get to support a local shop owner, so other than laziness, there is no reason not to go here for any comics shopping. Keep it up James!

Great shop, James will help you find what you need and can set up a monthly pick up. The shop pretty much has anything you could want, and if not, they can order it in

I really wanted to like this store, but with how disorganized it is and how many boxes and other things are stacked on the back issues, it made it more frustrating than fun to look for comics. I would like to return one day, but hopefully with it being more tidy.

Great comic book store! The guy working there is very knowledgeable about both comics and board games. He doesn't like Batman, but I can forgive him this sin as his store is very well stocked with a variety of new and old comics. Check it out!

Best locally owned store in Winnipeg for graphic novels. Overall, perfect comic and board game shop for both hardcore fans and people newer to comics/graphic novels/board games/funkos whatever is your bag. Owner will get what you need and gives amazing recommendations. He knows everything so he always provides new customers the perfect starting off point. He can also go deep and obscure for regular comic readers.

The owner? Staff member was very helpful but it was hard to navigate as it is pretty crammed with comics. I found 2 for Christmas though so happy about that!
