I highly recommend this company. We used them to design our basement apartment and get us the building permit. Everything from pricing to the service was amazing. Mati spent a lot of time with us (with an initial on-site visit and several phone conversations) understanding our priorities/needs and worked with our builder to come up with a creative design that fit our construction budget and delivered more than what we originally expected to get out of the space. Mati and team were very accommodating with making revisions to the designs without charging us extra as our plans changed slightly a couple of times. We got our permit approval from the city within a week of applying!

PermitGuys (run by Mati) was recommended to me by a large contracting company that couldn't take on my job. Mati and Project Manager Aamou were courteous and professional. I had no idea what I was doing, but they took me through every step of the way. I was very comfortable with them and I never felt like they were taking advantage of my ignorance.In fact, through the design process, they maintained communication throughout and made sure that their proposed construction designs would stay in my budget. My area has some strict permit requirements and PermitGuys made all necessary revisions in a timely manner until our permit was approved.We were so comfortable and happy with them, that we added another permit before beginning construction.We are now in the process of securing a contractor. Mati has connected us with some top/high end guys that frequently use his services. If the top, custom, contractors in GTA trust PermitGuys to secure their permits, then the novices can too.We haven't chosen a contractor just yet, but get this: Mati just messaged me on the weekend asking if I secured a contractor yet... Why?" you ask? It's because he has found a new way of doing something on my project that will save me at least $5000. Ummmmm yes please!!! Talk about great post-service

I had an amazing experience with Mati from Permit Guys. I needed help with a permit regarding stair rails/guards and Mati ensured that Permit Guys helped me in a very time effective manner. I needed to be sure of different heights required for stair rails and my contractor was disagreeing with the City. Mati and Shaofeng were super and also pointed me to the exact section in the code so I could share with the contractor.

Very professional team. Loved working with Aamou. He was always available to answer any questions or concerns. The whole experience was easy and they took care of dealing with the town. I made changes to the designs but they were very patient and made recommendations.
