To have a groomed x-country ski trail of such high quality within the city limits must be unique in North America. They also have rentals for the novices. Excellent facility and lit at night!!!

It's a lovely place for nature walk, walking pets, photographing birds and nature or just to spend time in Peace and quiet and fresh air. One of the nicest and most comfortable spots in the city to roam around and even feel safe. Highly recommend. Adding photos of some birds I clicked here!

Great golf course for a challenging game. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Only down side is the place looks run down. Its obviously the owners are not putting any money back into the facilities. Driveway leading up to the pro shop needs a complete repaving (be mindful of the wash outs and pot holes).

Great for their trails and walking your dog, although it can get really muddy and icey throughout the year so make sure you have good boots and suitable clothing. There isn't much for sign markers along the trails but you can take a photo of the map at the entrance to help along the way in case you get lost. They also have cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Overall, one of the best spots for outdoor activities in St John's.

Pippy park is a fantastic place to take the family/bikes/skis/snowshoes/dogs and have a great time. Highly recommend! Would be nice if more people picked up after their dogs, but that isn't the park commissions fault. Make sure you wear waterproof footwear! (Or be prepared to turn around in some places)
