Janet is a brilliant artist and her clay work is unique and moving. Every piece tells a story of the earth and our history on it. The colours of her work are vibrant and when you hold a piece you feel how special that piece of art is! I have many pieces in my home, and I love each one. Drop into her studio in East Coulee for a true Alberta experience.

I highly recommend making a stop to Janet's Clay studio. She is an extremly talented artist with a wide range of art pieces to choose from. You can purchase mugs, vases, plates, and more all made of clay and hand painted. Janet is extremely friendly and it was a pleasure chatting with her. 10/10 would recommend stopping here and i cannot wait to try out my new mug !

Such a delightful find of this sweet studio filled with many treasures artfully displayed. A wonderful variety of pottery creations from rock rattles to bowls, mugs, tea pots and jewelry all with a theme of the stunning badlands, dinosaurs and fossils of the area imbeded in each piece. A must see!!!

I love everything about Caracol pottery. It's all hand built rather than made on a pottery wheel so it has a fantastic organic quality. Each piece is unique and the glaze colours are sumptuous. I now have two plates, a rock rattle and some tiny starfish. I highly recommend a visit to Caracol to take home a souvenir or gift that is locally made and will look beautiful in your home.
