Cali Nails

On Christmas my dad had gotten me a voucher for this salon. Today I finally decided to go, despite the many negative reviews online. When I got there I only had to wait about 5 minutes max before the technician started. I got acrylic nails and was shocked and amazed at how well they turned out. The speed yet precision the tech had was amazing and my nails turned out beautifully blended. The staff were quick but seemed sick of it all haha. Maybe I just got a good tech this time but for the price range (70$ with gel) it’s phenomenal. The only other time I had gotten acrylics, I went to a high-end salon and basically got the exact same thing but twice the price. I think you definitely have to know what you want before you walk in or else it would not be as pleasant. Definitely recommend for people who are confident in what they want.

My daughter wanted Christmas nails/ colors but the tech lady looked at me weird like she didn't know what I was talking about, my daughter wanted CAT EYES but looks nothing like a cat eye and the polish job is done very poorly n sloppy, my daughter said water was too hot, and the technician scratched her while cutting her cuticles.... tech had no patience, she asked my daughter which color she wanted on which mail and my daughter didn't get Chance to answer and she just grabs her hand and starts painting them. Not going back there again

Don’t go there. The person that did my french tips didn’t do the shape or color that I asked for. All of the acrylic nails had air bubbles in them. And none of the nails were the same shape.

Went in for a quick manicure with my daughter today. I thought the job was good until the polish dried. It had bubbles all thru it. The woman claimed it was dust" I asked her if she'd never seen this she claimed no. Gave no discount.Furthermore they did not speak to us.Only each other in their language."

Absolutely the WORST service ever. I will never return. They took my daughters money and did a horrible job. They rushed her nails, said they didn’t have time to do them properly, and charged her full price. They treated her so horribly as well. RUDE

Came in for a pedicure .. language tech couldn’t speak English.. I tried to explain I needed work on left foot. She ignored me, pointed it out again.. and she by passed it.. painted half the nails on my right foot, only centres painted. Left foot thick and glumpy.. sat under lights for drying time past half an hour.. she said dry. Left the store,Got up this morning nail polish on little toes rubbed off. Big toe on right foot a mess.. no sanding off of calisies on left side of foot? Waste of $50 plus their debit machine demands a tip? I managed to by pass it like she did my feet.. sigh.. had enough of lazy nail workers

The only person to communicate with me is a lady who was also a customer next to me getting her nails done. A pile of mail colour samples were handed to me and no one said anything to me. The desk person stayed on their phone the whole time, hardly being polite to anyone who came to ask for service. The older lady who did my nails was kind of rough with me, I have 2 old injuries to 2 of my fingers and it was painful how she kept pulling my fingers around. Once she was done she didn’t say anything to me, applied the oil and got up and went to the cash register. So I got up and paid… she didn’t clean up the polish that got on my skin, the job was very sloppily done, I’ve been waiting to get my nails done for three months and wish my experience was more professional and friendly. I won’t be returning.

Wow I never write reviews but I just walked out of an appointment in shock with how my nails look, and how horribly the staff treated me. it’s as if they have been put through a wood-chipper. Healthy thick nails now covered in deep rough scratches and milky in colour from the tech not even bothering to finish her job. I was burnt a few times by their drill. The tips of my fingers were painfully filed. I felt so uncomfortable by how aggressive she was that I said I just wanted my nails cut and no longer have polish application.Go here and get ready to be treated like cattle as if you’re there wasting their time. Employees clearly talking about you while standing next to you, but not in English. What a horrible HORRIBLE experience. This was my 2nd time here.first time the tech was lazy and quick, this time I felt so uncomfortable I almost got up and left. DO NOT GO HERE.

The ladies customer service was pretty bad. They didn't speak to us the whole time and barely made eye contact. They just spoke to each other the whole time in a foreign language without acknowledging us. It felt very rude. Both of our nails almost immediately became covered in bubbles. I think it's because they didn't let one coat dry before putting on another but the woman tried to tell me she had never seen it before and it was maybe dust. She just didn't wanna give me a discount would not recommend

Quick, friendly, and clean! The person who did my Mani Pedi was super sweet, chatty, and kept checking in to make sure I like the colour, temperature, etc. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable everything was. Excited for next time!
