Turcotte's Chipstand
Wonderful, family owned business in Mattawa. Original chip stand still stands and you can learn some of the history of the place while you wait for your order. All items were cooked fresh while we waited. Atmosphere is comfortable and well appointed with lots of places to relax in the shade while you wait. There’s also an area designed for kids. 10/10 would go here again.

The entire experience was excellent. Very passionate team, excellent prices, quick turnaround, and the food is phenomenal. Had a large poutine with extra cheesy goodness and this is a memorable meal. Awesome.

The owners are super friendly and the food is delicious. I recommend it to everyone. And if you are confused about the location it's down the walkway between Crescent Creations and Foodland.

Great fries and gravy! Very friendly service and a lovely place to sit outdoors and enjoy your food. Hard to find if you don't know where it is but worth the effort!

Hands down my favourite fries and poutine anywhere. Make the short detour downtown to get fries the next time you're travelling through Mattawa.
