Avis Car Rental

on your reply....thank you but i dont have more time to waste on sending emails.They took $500 as security deposit hold, not available at Calgary airport after 10pm. They charged me $20 extra in name of fees, I already booked and fully pre-paid my rental but still they charged extra. Never renting with them again.

I have been renting all my life and this location and staff are above and beyond.I received the best service ever.I will be recommending this location and this will be the location for for all of my future rentals.Paul

Nice people working there and willing to make your experience with them a good one. They offered to upgrade us from a car to an SUV for $6... not bad. But what I really admire about this location is their honesty. I left an envelope of cash after returning the rental over night and I called the next day to find that it was turned in to their agents at the desk. I recommend this location.

I recently had the pleasure of encountering exceptional customer service provided by Haider at this Calgary location. Due to a five-hour flight delay, I couldn't pick up my rental car on time. However, Haider made sure that I received the car despite the circumstances. His positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly remarkable. I highly recommend Avis and specifically commend Haider for his outstanding service.

Warning about AVIS!!!!On top of my horrible experience, I read a lot of their reviews and they are a bad company with regular bad experiences.Rental booked for 10am, no one was there. Took an hour to transfer the booking to the airport location. They wouldn't give a discount, instead they charged an extra 24% for picking up at the airport. Now I'm 75 minutes behind and I have to make a drop off in Edmonton that they don't want to budge on the time for even though they messed up and have me the vehicle an hour late. The story isn't done, let's wait to see how they mess this up on the other side.

Great service renting at this location. Haider helped us out big time, even stayed a little after hours because our flight was late a few minutes. Thank you very much once again. Will definitely rent from this location again. Excellent customer service.

Rented car for a few days and when we returned it they suddenly found a big paint job on the door. Argued that we caused the damage and painted over it or someone else damaged the car and painted it with white out and then ran away…Either the employee is lying or very poor at his job because he did not notice the damage on the first day. I on the other hand noticed the damage but didn’t say anything because he said it was all good and didn’t say anything about the damage. Didn’t have pictures to show proof so we had to write an incident report.Ridiculous experience. Someone at head office needs to check what’s going on here because this is almost a scam.

Rented a car. Went to pick it up. No one was there. Scrambled to find an avis with the car I rented in advance. Taxied to the airport. Got charged MORE because it was an airport pickup when it wasn't supposed to be. They had the audacity to say I better drop it off for my original time when their mess up cost us an hour of our time. Was late to work. No one answers their phones. Was told to bad so sad.

Great cutomer service and very positive Attitude. I prefer this location because of the customer service.Haider is always willing to work with the customers answering questions and helping them with their rental needs.If it's an insurance claim or just need a rental this is the place to do it from.
