My son and I come here a few times a week as I live nearby. Love the big slides. Seems like the park could do with a facelift though! Nice big field to play on, a few picnic tables,a portapotty, bring your bikes because there is a mini road to ride around the park on.

This clean park is quiet and has some of the most exciting slides about. It's also good for scooters. A true diamond in the rough.

Nice park with a green lawn for children to play field games. There are some swings and slides as well. It is located in a residential area close to the harbour area of Nanaimo, and very near the Departure Bay ferry terminal of BC Ferries.

Condensed park that works well! The young ones (even at heart) have pretty good fun

This is a little hidden gem. There is the coolest slide entry for kids with stairs for parents right along side the slides. Also wheelchair accessible and a wheelchair accessible outhouse for emergency relief. Quite big and great for social distancing during the covid. Picnic tables and parking along the fence outside the park. This place is close the ferry dock to horseshoe Bay and I stumbled upon it by accident. Lovely little surprise.

Lots of fun ! Great little kid bike spot as well. The long slides are always a fun hit as well , we enjoy this park often rolling down the hills into the field and racing on the slides. It's a great go to park. Perfect for all park ages I would say.

I've been coming here for years now. The slides are horrifically fun (if you're not careful, you're launched). The other equipment is standard playground stuff, nothing too exciting. Tends to be pretty quiet, a few families on the weekend, and even less during the week (which makes social distancing a breeze). The large field is seldom occupied, and i've seen a few birthday parties and bbq's over the years. Definitely a place to visit with the littles!

It's a unique playground! It's got the biggest slides in Nanaimo or probably on the island! They can also be slides for adults. We met some new people here in our first visit. It also has a couple of swings and a nice road that goes around for children to practice biking.
