Beautiful! The Victorian tub in our room was amazing and the bed was so comfy. The full breakfast in the morning was also a wonderful surprise. Everyone was so nice, great vibe. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful public rooms, lovely gardens, delicious and generous breakfast. Peaceful setting. Room was fine but the furnishings and decor were somewhat lacking compared to the rest of the place. Would definitely go back and perhaps try a different room. Lovely and welcoming hostess.

We stayed with another couple a few weeks ago. it was lovely. Very clean and hospitable. Lovely antiques and comfortable beds. Breakfast was good and the size of the dining room made distancing easy.

Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful rooms, immaculately cleaned. Very hospitable hosts. Beautiful common areas. Delicious breakfast. Great location. Can’t fault it and would highly recommend. Thank you so much for having us! We will be back!

We were met by the owner who is very nice. There were Hand sanitation stations everywhere. The room and bathroom was very clean. There was plenty of room for 6 feet distancing in the dining room. Breakfast was filling and varied.

Absolutely wonderful stay. From the arriving to leaving we were treated wonderfully. The room was very comfortable, property and grounds were stunning and the breakfast was delicious. I would love to stay again!

The Regency period decor may have been to the taste of some but we thought that it was a victory of style over content. The four poster bed in our room really did need the set of steps provided to climb up to and could be a problem for anyone with limited mobility. Breakfast was included in the room price and was very busy with a large party which delayed our departure for a scheduled ferry. We never did find the advertised bar but parking was free. Within walking distance of the delightful waterfront and historic fort it's conveniently situated.

Cool place, step back in history and enjoy the 1800s feel. Breakfast was amazing, service was wonderful! Only complaint was that our room was on the top floor and was a bit warm, and the AC was too loud to run it all night. But very cozy and authentic building with great service!

We had a very nice stay at this very well maintained historical home. The breakfast was very good. The grounds are lovely and I’m sure even nicer when warmer weather comes. It’s a few houses down from the historic gardens and a decent walk to the town’s waterfront, where there’s a nice boardwalk.
