Avis Car Rental

Rented last month from this location. Charged 27 bucks for fuel despite being fuel indicator on F". Tried disputing it

All the folks were nice and helpful, car was below par and didn’t have a working entertainment system though, couldn’t connect to the Bluetooth, CarPlay or any entertainment functionality. Might give enterprise a shot, but if I do try again, will update my review.

Was in TO for the weekend and decided to go rent a car and go to Niagara falls. I also loved the fact that there was after hours drop off so I didn't have to pay extra to park car overnight! The gentleman at the counter that served me was very kind and patient. I rented a compact vehicle and asked to be upgraded to a bigger and safer vehicle for a less charge than listed. He gave clear directions to the drop off and where to pick it up and answered all my questions.My fancy ford escape made my journey so much more comfy and fun!

Well maintained cars and considerate staff. Conveniently located in the city and competitive rates. Would recommend any day

worst experience ever!!!i landed 12 at night and was a having a reservation with me but the customer service refuse to give me car as i was using the coupon for discount, he refuse to give me car because of coupon.i will recommend not to get this car rental for sure the associate is too rude with the customer at airport.

Staff at both front desk and in garage do such a great job at the Yonge/Bloor Avis location — they’re professional, friendly and helpful. Cars are always in great shape, too, and I love that I can drop off after hours. I also appreciated that this w/e I could rent for just one day, which was all I needed.

Recent visitor to this branch from Scotland.I have to say that the service from the guys at the desk to the staff/valeter’s in the underground compound was first class and I don’t agree with some of the previous comments. Maybe I treat people differently than other reviewers?Extremely helpful with small issue on vehicle pick up was sorted out after having a quick polite chat to staff and nothing was too much trouble, in fact we managed to sort out a much better car prior to leaving branch.Excellent customer service and would recommend highly.

I (and family members) used to rent cars at this location a couple of times on long weekends for the past 5 years, and we always had great experiences (they were very nice, professional and very accommodating)... until my most recent experience (Easter long weekend 2023). BEFORE, they allowed to return the car slightly after their opening hours without being charged (during the check-in they told me no problem to return after 6pm as long as you don't pass midnight") even if it was marked on my rental agreement to return the car before 5pm. NOW

Great service, clean car. My kid always complains about rental car smell and get motion sickness. But this time no complaints. Thanks Avis.

Don't rent from this location. I picked up from the airport, an easy process, and returned here. There is no visible signage from the street indicating the entrance, in front the W hotel. No one told me how to access parking, which is level B3, or what to do once I parked the car. No attendant was in the booth so I walked around looking for an employee. Someone cleaning cars had to give me instructions. I didnt even get a receipt. Luckily I called the front desk, wherever that is, and they said the person closed my booking and let them know I returned the car. No directions or instructions where given and I was very confused what to do. Not cool.
