Walmart Supercentre

Lost a star for locking the doors at one end of the store 45 minutes before closing.Lost the rest for doing it in front of me, then telling me to walk to the other end of the store if I want to leave."One star back for the useful employee that came to let me out.Walmart of all places can afford to keep doors unlocked and staffed during business hours.I'm not even sure fire code allows them to lock half the exits in a building that size.Pics are when they dumped tens of thousands of dollars worth of food when coolers failed

I went into the Camrose Walmart to buy the Complete Series of Friends. When I found the DVD set it was priced at $70 on shelf label. And yes I double checked the information on both the DVD set and the shelf where I grabbed the DVD set from. The shelf label said “Complete Friends Series the 25th Anniversary” When I got to the till the price jumped to $100 (which it was not advertised as). After standing and waiting for 5 - 10 minutes, all the manger had to say was “The bar code doesn’t match and it’s not the same set as the the 25th anniversary set”. Both sets include all disc’s from season 1 to season 10. So, pretty much the only reason they wouldn’t sell us the DVD set for $70 was because the DVD set didn’t say “The 25th Anniversary” on it. Nothing but excuses were made and thrown at me.I would recommend double checking your receipts after your groceries, etc have been scanned through the till. As they are pricing things lower then their systems actually has them priced at. Or simply take your business else where, if they can’t price things properly or provide actual explanations for things then they should hire better management. Walmart is completely at fault for falsely pricing their products, and should have sold us the set for the price they had advertised as. I’m completely discussed with the management at the Camrose Walmart.

Got rid of the cashiers....and then still leaves a majority of the self check outs closed resulting in lines....makes you shake your head.

No complaints, maybe more till workers but that's what we get for complaining about getting minimum wage to fill bags, so gotta work there yourself and ring your own items though, should mean our groceries should be cheaper if they are paying less employees seeing as it was a rolling cost and the machines were a one time cost, so eventually the machine will pay for itself and therefor they should mark groceries down accordingly seeing as there are a Billion Walmarts.....Also why doesn't Walmart sell shelving space to locals? Insane that Walmart just sells space but won't even sell it to real humans, just big rich corporations... I try not to shop at Walmart, cus yeah! Shop Local Everyone!

it is a great store considering we live in camrose, with an option to online order as well. but they need to hire more cashiers on til! why do we need to do their jobs for them? Or open more self checkouts!! There are so many workers walking around but do not help customers at all. you guys are in a “customer service” industry.

Went through the self checkout and the lady there demanded and grabbed my cart to scan through and rushed me through all my products saying “isn’t it great to be rushed?” “Hurry up, get your items together” and handled my cart and items super aggressively, Which resulted in items being scanned more than once. I get being short staffed but NO ONE should be treated in that way.

An older man working the door profiled me and wouldn’t open the gate and tried to hold me and my friend hostage because he falsely accused us for stealing, after saying we just want to leave because there was not the brand of dog food, he said good. Such disrespect, don’t patronize this Walmart if you want to be treated with respect.

Deceptive. This location is chronically understaffed. Items are not organized in the appropriate locations and are mislabeled. Thus providing wrong pricing on items. Sometimes by a few dollars. Sometimes by more. When you ask and they verify the items are all in the wrong spot they refuse to correct the issue.Store refuses to maintain a good standard and honor displayed prices.Generally this location only still is in business due to lack of competition in the local market and competitors prices. This place is a bit cheaper. Probably because of all the corners the parent company cuts from proper staffing levels, providing benefits or proper pay.I feel sorry for the staff here management has their heads so far up their own tailpipes they think everything is fine.

it blows my mind how fast trash they sell breaks and it is impossible to find a pair of work pants that does not disintegrate.I would shop there is they sold clothing that would last longer then 6 months.
