PODS Moving & Storage

Ordered a container based on a quote with 30% discount. Never received a confirmation or an order number. I noticed the day before delivery but customer service didn't answer the phone. I can't even login on their website. HTTP Error 503 Service not available.When I finally got someone on the line on delivery day" they didn't care. Promo code expired.That was the last time I tried to use them."

I had a pod delivered here from the US and picked my belongings up in a U-Haul to save a little money (instead of having it delivered to me). It was a really excellent experience for me. Gerald is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. He made some last minute changes for me and accommodated what I asked for. No issues whatsoever. I would highly recommend.

Beware that depending on the driver, they may damage your driveway when moving the pod. Initial driver was fine. Second driver that picked up. Pod to move to new house appeared nervous and inexperienced. Huge chunks and gouges out of my driveway that was paved only 2 years ago.

Poor communication. Customer service did not inform about discounts for CAA members for first time service users and refused to refund amount after service was completed, nor was the information about discounts available on their website. Customer service, specifically quality of handling customer requests on the phone needs improvement. Delivery service was good, our driver was very nice and did a good job.

When I called to book my POD I was give a quote to deliver to a rural area outside of the city center and was told by the representative that they will drop off my full POD to anywhere in the province when I move into my new home. When I tried to arrange the drop off to my new home I was told they only deliver within 120 kms of their facility in Dartmouth, NS. I was told I would have to rent a truck, empty my POD into the truck and move my belongings myself.It was then said to me that I was lying about being told they deliver to rural areas. I asked if the calls are recorded, which they are, and asked the man to check the call to which he said he could but it would prove me wrong.I like the fact that I was able to move my belongings into the POD at my leisure which took some stress out of moving. However I do not like being told one thing and relying on that. Then being called a liar and refusing to check the call. Not to mention the added manpower and stress to now rent a truck and move my belongings out of the POD, onto a truck and then out of the truck and into the house again which adds an extra step. As if moving isn't stressful enough.Customer service does not seem to be a priority anywhere anymore which is frustrating when you take into account the cost of things these days.

I was able to complete my move because of PODS. They deliver right to my door. I was able to pack my belongings and have them delivered unbroken directly to my new location. The driver was very helpful making sure the door to the POD was as close to my house for ease of moving.

They have been very good to deal with. Drivers have been polite and on time for drop off and pick up.

As of right now still waiting for the resolution to come through, but I ended up being charged almost $350 more than my initial $750 quote give or take. They do weird billing where they pre authand then charge you but they're holding the money twice and it takes 24 to 48 hrs for it to be removed, also it just seemed to like every week there was some new bill. I was way over charged what I was quoted. Almost 50%. I will say other then the billing/over charging everything else was great!

Using PODS to move across the country was the right choice for us. They delivered us the empty PODS one at a time as requested. We loaded them and they shipped them across the country for us. They were delivered to us on our schedule and they were able to accommodate several changes in my schedule. Everyone I dealt with was exceptionally friendly. Your belongings are also insured incase there is damage. I’d recommend them. If you’re considering it, stop searching and call them! Also very neat to watch how they pick up and drop off. 10/10 service. Thank you PODS.

I got exactly what I needed. Customer service was great in solving dilemas, and I like the online dashboard hat let me schedule things in my own time and schedule.
