The old guy with the buzz cut and glasses is extremely rude. He had an attitude for no reason. Went in there to try breakfast and the place was empty and quiet and the guy ignored me when I said good morning. So I wasn't sure if they opened yet so I asked and he ignored me so I asked again and he said is the door open?" and rolled his eyes. Felt so uncomfortable and awkward so we left without ordering and went to Cork and Bean instead where they actually have manners. I ate here before and had no issues

Came here since 2000 being a Trent green horn. Glad they are still around and survived the covid plague timesGreat patio. Great indoor atmosphere, it's a pub with awesome grease loving menu of awesome and the servers know their local brews etc to offer.

Mack is by far our favourite bartender of all time!! He’s introduced my friends and me to all of our new fav bevs! He always has the best recommendations & he pulls off a hat really well! Returning to hangout with Mack 7 days a week! The other staff are also dope, we love Ryan too! And Rudy is cool as heck!

Food was cooked fresh. Service was slow - over 40 minutes for two identical breakfasts from the menu. Waitress gave 15 tubs of peanut butter and said she'd be back with jam but didn't follow up. Condiment bottles were dirty. Nice artwork inside.

Food was good, zero customer service until I asked for the bill, which is when the person was nice. Walked in, no acknowledgement. Asked for coffee and water, had to wait for them to make it and then to carry 4 cups myself to my table

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I was there with some friends and their kids. Everyone had a good time. I had Jeremy’s Grilled Jerk Turkey sandwich and it was just spicy enough to get my nose running but the heat was well moderated by the fresh tomato and lettuce. The pickles were wonderfully garlicky. My friends had vegan sandwiches that looked very tasty.

Rude. Cliquey. I have a chronic condition and was having a cold spell so intense I was about to pass out. In trying to stay standing, I asked nearby people for some sweaters (shoutout to Mack for yes trying to find a sweater to help the situation despite not realizing the severity). I called a cab to head to the hospital (pretty common occurrence for me so was chill about the situation) and asked for a hot chocolate and slice of toast (need sugar to help with the cold spell). Struggling to stand, worried I was going to pass out, I sat on the ground and cried, sad that my body was breaking down. A bartender I had yet to interact with (surprisingly as I used to go there a lot, too much as they decided) told me I was not allowed to do that...I do not know anyone who ever willingly sits on a floor and cries but ok!!! No one helped me at all as I do everything in my control to settle my tab, get my things, and get to the cab. It took the typical long long time for my food to come so I instead gave it away to some other customers as my cab was waiting and I did not need it to help anymore anyway. Upon returning later that night to purchase some juice, as it helps me from passing out, I was informed I could not be served (I was not over served and did not even drink alcohol earlier - I just have a chronic condition, but no one asked, no one ever asks). They then informed me I had to take a break, which is their shifty way of banning half of Peterborough :) for two weeks but it ended up being for three weeks. Not that it matters as I will never be returning again. I particularly like how everyone who works there entirely ignores my existence not only near the cafe but around town. I foolishly thought I was on good standing with some of them but it turns out once the only decides you aren't cool, all of their cool little staff jump on the band wagon. They act like they are exemplary community members about community care but I have never been treated so awfully before... and to think that used to be the place I would go to to feel accepted back in the day. They claim it was not due to my cold spell I was banned...as they now realize I am disabled and are worried... and that I was making customers uncomfortable. That is fine and dandy but sad considering I have explained to almost every staff member that I am autistic and really appreciate just being told when I am overstepping as sadly I am socially blind to it. I thought they had my back but turns out they were just keeping strikes against me without my knowledge.

Can be a little loud but that's to be expected when you visit a bar with great music and solid conversations happening. One of the best spots in town for a casual drink with friends - great atmosphere. The bartenders are just great- always looking out for you and super friendly! Havent tried much from the menu but both times I've gotten a sandwich at lunch its been surprisingly flavourful and inexpensive. Day or night, you've gotta check out the only cafe/bar!
